Nice one Kinell I am green with envy now, hope you can get out on it asap and keep us all updated on all the points good and bad
  5. You've got a Techno not a Rev3, it needs 500cc of oil for a change, little more if you are rebuilding etc, good bikes
  6. Think Ralph has a 37 pilot and 110 main, not sure if that is stock? may be worth doing what you have if it does block up one day
  7. Mate did a CHG trial today and said Steve Workman had a 4T there, probably came from BVM as I think Worky rides for them. Think Steve Saunders had his at the Vic Brit today so doubt Worky borrowed Steves for the day.
  8. Hi Mike, we have swapped the boot over as well even with the Mikuni makes abig difference. Pretty sure Ralph had the header and mid box off the bike to fit the carb, stuck the boot on the carb end first whilst it is out of the bike and then put it onto the air box and reed block. I did it this way eventually on mine and it was pretty easy in the end. Did you use the settings we posted on here, pilot/main etc? the settings Ralph has seem to work spot on and the bike starts easy as well.
  9. Now our little soldier ralph is a bit tired tonight after his first go on the bike for 3 weeks so he hasn't updated how the Dellorto performed today. Went to a new place for us near Cheltenham and it was pretty poor conditions, very windy, wet and and muddy but had a great day. The carb was brilliant again, no problems at all although a little rich which could have been cured with the petrol screw Ralph said, but it made the bike too sharp in the mud. No signs of muck getting in even though Ralph did a big roly poly down a hill early on in the day, and came very very close to launching the bike and himself off a huge step about 40 feet at the top of a steep climb. Sure he will post tomorrow more about the carb and how much easier it was to fit second time around
  10. sorry kinell could'nt resist usually wash the Jitsie filter from new and re oil with PJ1, the oil they put on it does seem to resrtict the flow? and yes always have a clean air box using Jitsie
  11. They clean easier, last alot longer and definately let the bike breath better, not sure if they cost more than the standard though? Beta number plate also springs to mind
  12. Can the Police charge him for taking the p***?
  13. Boofont, not had an 07 carb to bits but assuming its the same as the 06 the needle will be set in the middle notch, if you drop the needle this will lean the mix. There should be 5 notches as standard on the needle move the circlip up a notch so it drops the needle further into the carb. Keep a good look on the plug first time out to make sure its not running to weak at this setting though, should nt do though.
  14. Tone, if the air screw isnt enough drop the needle a notch or get the jet kit
  15. You Jet setter Ralph, Switzerland begining of Dec and now New York!!!! we are all missing your ample figure on the Beta at the Dishes get yourself back to the Uk asap mate
  16. Thanks for the info Rob, worth a try now
  17. You keep struggling Jamie, this is one of the most usefull items I have bought in years for the bike, saves time and sweat and turning/changing tyres isnt something I dislike doing any more. The Bead Buddy is also a very usuefull tool for the job, stops a lever popping out whilst putting the bead back on.
  18. Sean, if your gynaecologist says its not possible your probably not gay at all, just a little confused
