I think some bugger Madeoff with the yatch
-
I think the sherco 4T exhaust would look good and probably fit without too much work.
-
Cope, did you ever try a timing light on the 250 ? I was just pratting about with the timing light and it shows it forward of the stock timing marks in the manual posted for the 290, I retarded it about the same as you did on your 250 when I got the bike, I'm thinking with the smaller bore and stroke the position will be different than the 290 ?.
It runs spot on, but I have sweet **** all to do but mess with bikes
-
Pay rise!! we had to pay mill owner to work there, get up two hours before we went to bed, work 28 hours a day, mill owner would whip us with barbed wire each day before we went home to sleep in't box by side of road.
-
I think most of the above are past their best, but since no young rider is showing enough potential to beat them, they will remain the top five all year with the odd change in order now and again.
Bou is younger, riding better and more consistant than any of the others, odds are he will be champ.
If you went on form of the rider instead of what bike they may be riding, you might see not a lot has changed in the past five years.
-
If the shift lever is mounted one spline too high, the lever hasn't enough movement to get fifth before it stops on the engine case, try taking it off and moving it down one spline.
-
No I'm on't couch, I was sorting a bike for my mate Stan.
-
The two strokes are less to buy so less to rent, but you can get a 09 two stroke plus road reg for less than 700 quid, what you ride at home is probably the best bike to rent.
Any broken parts have to be replaced, just like you would do on your own bike.
A good option offered by all the importers, all you have to do is call them.
Air fare 400 quid, entry 400, bike 700, hotel 300, week in the SSDT, priceless.
-
I have had an RTL or two, looking at the picture other than where the top of the rear shock mounts, I can't see any other beefing up of the rear sub frame, is it enough ?.
-
Looking at the front page of Trials Central it looks more like Trials Rental this week.
With all the UK importers offering new machines for rent for this years SSDT.
I have bought bikes for the event, and rented bikes, and I must add, renting is the way to go, you get an new machine ready to go
at the start of the week, full backup through the week, and you can walk away from her at the end of the week without wondering if she is pregnant or not. and go for a

After seeing this picture I first thought why, but it is a nice job.
-
"John's Spot On!, SSDT prep"
He should be!! he's been going up there since 2nd world war.

A member of our club snapped this picture of one of the listed riders the year prior to the above results, who is it ?
-
It all depends on the size of your handicap.
-
If I pre enter and don't actually ride, can I still get points from the left over cleans
Sure would be nice not having to get off the couch.
-
Shame Kinell wasn't riding, he could scrub em in with his ass, not many getting out of them clean.
-
I had this problem, cured it by backing the mixture screw out 4 turns from stop, it's located front center under carb, they do make a tool to do the job, I made my own and used a little mirror to make sure I was getting the turns correct.
I think the stock setting is 1 1/2 turn out. I also found it didn't stall as easy.
When I called JL; they rocomended stock pilot, 112 main, mixture screw 4 1/4 turns out, fully lift needle clip on bottom setting.
-
Did you fill it right to the top with coolant ? if so it's got to have some expansion room, and will drip a little until it finds it's correct level.
The tube doesn't have a check valve in it.
-
I didn't want to break a tenner.
-
Bit of a scary moment when our lad forgot his fiver for the buttie van, poor bugger did baat.
-
Ey buggers coppied tyres too
-
I had to have a word wi my lad about that, I told him "never tell an observer what you got" they may of missed it
-
I have seen a single gas bottle on mono's, and individual bottles on each shock on twin shockers, but never a single bottle on a twin shock, or does it have another purpose ?.
-
We should be out and about a bit this year, if gas prices stays as is.
