Wrong bike, wrong user, wrong trial for sure!
I threw one on the front of the Serow to replace the dished out knobbie and it works a treat! When the rear knobbie goes, one will go on there as well! That little pig will make the rear flex, even with a tube in it!
Nothing serious here, but for putting about they work, and are inexpensive.

They are not bad, yet best for kids and wobblers on a budget.
Not as good on wet rocks, but otherwise OK. You get what you pay for!

The ali framed trailers seem expensive by comparison. I have seen the featherlite's, they look cool and well built, but the guy I know that runs exclusive cars around the country says the ali wont take the beating. Of course, if you are not running it 100K mi per year, it is no big deal.
He runs a Wells Cargo. For normal folk, probably not an issue if you stay out of salt!

The only person I know thas a trials uni may be Pat Smage. No idea where he get stuff for it, but a search around for trials bike specilists may well turn up something.
There is a bike thread in the forums that may name a few shops in the UK as well.

Broken or stripped gears seem extremly rare on the Sherco so there are no reported patterns here.
One recent situation broke 3'rd after a sudden stoppage due to throwing a chain.
Other that that, a close inspection would be neccessary. Could be just a bent fork due to a crash if all else works.
Yes, if you must do it, do it all. Be done with it. Splatshop has the good viton seals as well.

Yea, seems some of the Beta's would create a win.old file that you could use to reinstall some critical files and go back. Not there on mine!!!!!! Screw me!
I have not had a chance to mess further, and as it still does work has not been a major issue.
The Linux boot option may be credible if I can just get the restore files that are on the D drive partition to kick off and do it's thing, which is a format and clean install!

A friend suggested the possibility of using a 20"x2.50 Trials Unicycle tire on these. May well work, as they should be tough enough!
