I have just seen a picture of what looks like a yamaha 4stroke engine in a new tubular frame with yamaha wrote all over it! It was been ridden by one of the ex world level riders...
Anyone know if this is on it's way or just something someone has thrown together?

Hi,
Any ideas how i can get more power from my ty175?
As far as Im aware it is set up as standard with regards to the carb but it does have a wes exhaust.
I have a choice of carbs i can use, either the standard, dellorto pwk26 or a keihn 28...
Has anyone sucessfully got more power by changing things and if so where do I start?
Whn I say more power I mean more grunt in most the range in general...

So what is the most competitive twinshock trials bike available? As standard with no factory mods! Can anyone name the top 3?
-
is there a particular position the top mounts need to be repositioned in? ie 2inches from the top of the down tube or does this not matter?
Some pics would be great to see exactly how their welded the 3 different ways. About to have frame powder coated but want to sort this first!
cheers

Saw this on acu site, sorry if it's been posted before...
Unfortunately, it has been reported that at recent events, some riders have been paying little heed to instructions given to them by Marshals and Officials.
Regulations, Final Instructions and all Briefings and Notices given at an event are of paramount importance if we are to keep motorcycle sport safe and enjoyable for all. Such instructions are not given on a

I've seen this at the car shows where they put a steel bolt in alloy casing holes with stripped threads and run the stuff in, have had a go since and it's a dam site harder than it looks!
Maybe casing off and take to a professional to fill and then re thread?
I would probs use superglue knowing me.... and a big hammer!

Hi,
I have just collected a ty250 twinshock and have a couple of questions, hope someone can help.
The frame and engine number begin 493-2, am I correct in thinking it's a 76? It has did japan wheels too.
The frame is blue and the tank and exhaust cover white with blue decals on the tank, is this a standard frame colour as I have never seen one before? Also the undercoat looks yellow so maybe it's supposed to be yellow but it does look like a factory kind of blue paint job? Can anyone help on this? It's a uk bike as far as I know!
Future plans are to fix up to trial then restore when time permits.
Cheers

There is an engage idle kickstart sprocket in between the clutch basket and the kickstart half sprockit, if there is so much as a hairline scratch on this sprocket then they rattle and whine (noise your describing) like hell.

I know Mike Rapley mentioned this and maybe its been spoke about before but....
Does anyone have any idea/knowledge on the Expert A and Expert B courses that are promised in 09?
Q1, someone must know by now if the new course is going to lie in the middle of the existing 2 or below the 2008 experts.
There's been many discussions/comments about the 2008 expert course but just exactly what has been decided?
Q2, Does any one know if the existing top expert riders from 2008 are been forced/advised to ride "Expert A"?
Q3, Are the ACU avoiding this question? (no offence, have checked website but no joy)
Q4, Will you have to travel to round 1 to find out?
Q5, Which course will the youth A superstars be riding?
Any ideas???
