Hey overthehill, u bring up some good points, i was talking to gav 2day tryin 2 giv im some help but i good not understand what he meant by "jumpy on the road, and you cant push it in neutral" i told him to blast the carb with compressed air?? dunno if hes done it, we were meant to be going to this trial at lagnaha yesterday but sadly it was cancelled, just aswell for gavin!! Hopefully it`ll be fixed for saturday p.s overthehill, wots ur name and were do you live??(not stalking u just want 2 know if ive seen you at a trial before)!!!! Cheers Chris

A guy i know just bought a 04 hemingway bike, all modded up(carb....) He had to put the flyweel back on because of the grunt cumin out of it!! But when he had an 02 and 03 250 model he took it if to give him a bit more snap to the bike!! REV`er

I just visited the sherco pages and people say that the sherco air box is really bad, i remember this on a Montesa aswell, does water get into all montesa airboxes or is it just when riding through deep water etc.... Cheers in advance

Gavin are you sure you cleaned it properly, 1. make sure you take your airbox of submre it in hot waterGive it a bath) then dry it with your compressor, make sure you get into all the nooks and crany`s. 2. Take your carb apart then spray that lube stuff you put in it then blast in around it way your compressor, make sure you spend time doing this as you tend to rush it, then it should work properly!! if it doesn`t don`t know wots wrong wae it!!! My dad says im not allowd to put the hairdryer on the carb as a spark could ignite the petrol vapour and ignite me + bike, so i rode around for a while trying to warm it up and nothing happened, burnt my hand touching the eghaust but the carb was still well cold????????? What do i do, with out using the hair dryer?? Does the tick over for 10mins work IanJ

i went round the last trial with a puncture on a tubed tyre!! 0psi for 2 laps of 18 including rocks, quarry, loads of burns.... but it was amazing grip on the hill climbs and moor run but not so good when riding back on the forest track, i normally ride 4-5 psi back and 6-7 psi in front, i dont normally adjust the front as it doesnt make much difference! REV`er

I recently had a shot of an 03 125 gasser, i thought it was a bit weak!! after being on a 250 for a while i wouldnt go back!! I was just wandering because mags said theyll be scruiteneering this year at our clubs because of youths riding 290`s and 270`s cheers

Almost always when me and Gavin go out on our bikes gavin always seems to have bad performance from his carb because of Crap(air filter spray) at the bottom of his airbox getting into the carb, Why is this, i use the same spray(PJ1 Filter Spray) and it doesn`t happen to me! Anyone got any ideas? cheers

Which chain and sprocket set has the best wear and reliability? ive tried the renthal H/duty chain its OK but awfull expensive for a chain that does the same as a factory one(i think so anyway!) also ive tried talon Sprockets there good, theve got good wear on them, has anyone tried renthal Sprockets
