Depends...if its a stone of stones or a stone of feathers
-
POSER!!!...and yep, I'm only jealous ...you're bike(s) always look in better nik than mine
-
Pleased it went well Scorpa3.
I might be there myself if you do some next summer...should be around....so please post a note about it on here again like you did this time.
-
Looks good man!....Is that a Mitani exhaust cover?...they do a nice airbox cover too...did you get that?
Keep the pics coming
-
Its an 02 Rev3 250....so I guess the wheel was probably made in 01??
-
Be carefull to confirm shipping costs from some of those European shops!
-
The Novogar sounds and looks like an excellent series to me, and I for one, (when I live in UK) would be dissapointed if I could not ride in it, which at this time I probably could not...I think I would be out of my depth.
SO..(to make a short story longer!)..it would be good news for me at least if there were 2 routes...especially if the 2nd route is REALLY easy..hee-hee
-
If I'm back, then I'll come and observe...but wont know untill August, when I'll be in UK.
Would that be too late BS??
Will check with you again nearer the time
-
Personally I think the Rev3 is fantastic too...and would be happy if Beta stay with 2 stroke...but ...it would be interesting at least, to know what might be in the pipeline for the 06 model.
-
But they've both got a nasty twitch... ..only kidding...sorry excuse my childishness...I'll go and get me coat!
-
Sorry for further diverting the topic...but good luck Dougie..and Mrs. Lampkin....looking forward to hearing some news..hope it all goes OK for you.
Going back to the other chat....(forgive me if Im wrong...I'm still a bit of a newbie)...BUT..wasnt the 2002 WTC No-Stop..........my point being that, I actually prefer watching my dvd from '02 than the more recent ones.
For what its worth...anyway..I suppose I'm biased but I think trials could still be entertaining to the masses without it getting TOO "dangerous"
-
No you dont need it...but I do, so you can give the prize to me!
-
No...sorry...maybe next time! ...pleased you had a good day though...any pics??
-
Over here most people run about 6psi in the front and about 4psi in the rear. Hope that helps ...thanks for the link to that site..will check it out now
-
Yes and make sure they get VERY drunk..whilst ensuring Dougie gets a good nights rest!!!
-
Yeah...get well soon Sam..hope the shoulder is gonna be OK
-
Are they the ones that can be turned around??...(to avoid turning the tyre when looking for more grip)
I think you can just swop the disc and sprocket over.
Sounds like a good idea...have you tried one HondaRS??..a bit pricey though eh.
-
neonsurge..I'd be very interested to read your comparison..so if you've got time..please let us all know what you think!
Cheers....STU
-
Griffith..if its anything like the Beta rear wheel, you might want to do a search in the Beta forum to see what it says...has been discussed there a few times
-
Thank goodness...I'm so pleased to hear you do it that way r2w. I cant believe so many people still do it the conventional way, when to me, it seems SO easy to do the back bleeding way...its MUCH quicker and always works really well for me.
There..got that off me chest!
-
HI all,
NOt very exciting of course...but just thought I'd let you all see the latest modification I did to my bike.
I've made a special hole for keeping the oil in the transmission cool!
-
Hi Neonsurge...congrats on the new bike!!...one rider here has the 200, and I've always liked it when I have a go on it.
Cant really help you on the bearing issue, but I CAN tell you that last time I took the swingarm off my Rev3 I just could NOT get the mottom bolt/mount of the rear shock undone.
I suggest starting to WD it in advance, even if you're not gonna be tackling the job for a few days/weeks.
Good luck!
-
Yeah...good points Dabster....and Beta boy...you're right.....DOH..of course..I'd forgotten helmets dont have VAT on...sorry buster
-
Hi Buster...
dont forget if you buy from BVM they will discount the VAT (since you're not in the UK)....VAT is 17.5 percent.
THen even after shipping..(BVM are very reasonable on that too) you might still find the Airoh to be a good buy.
Some guys here in HK have bought lids from abroad, regardless of the possible sizing problems, and just sold them on to a mate if it didnt fit them.
Although I'm an out and out Arai fan, the Airoh does seem to be the only lid I've seen that comes close or maybe even equals the Arai.
If one doesnt fit you and they are not available near you, then I would say with the excellent quality of them and their desireablility, you'd have no problems selling it on to a mate.!!
-
Arais are the muts plums...if you can afford one, you'll never regret it!!!!!
