you need a socket thats slightly smaller than the original size, the best way is usually to use an imperial socket thats inbetween the two metric sizes, gently tap it on with a hammer and turn it with a ratchet.
once its out put the socket upside down tight in a vice and knock the old sump bolt out of your socket using a punch or an old screwdriver.

they need a bit of rain to get rid of all the dust!

Does anyone know where I can buy some trials flags online? cant be a***d to make my own and usually dont even bother marking sections out for myself, but ive decided that if I want to get better faster It will be best for me to start marking some sections out.

I recently had a problem with my regulator and had to replace it. replaced the thermostat too, when the wires were crossed the fan ran fine but it wouldnt start up.
in the end i went down the garden and gave the motor some hammer until either the fan kicked it or the coolant boiled over.
Luckily the fan kicked in but it had to get bloody hot!!
does it work if you just bypass the thermostat?

Ill let you know when I get mine (hopefully next week), just waiting for the wheels and sump guard to be anodised

If your riding in nasty conditions then you should get crap in your carb, so inevitably will have to come off. I had an 02 scorpa and it was a git to get off, but once you have the nack/hand made tools to do the job your laughing.

just a few things, nothing much, waiting for pegs though =(
just got fork guards, jitsie lever adjusters and master cylinder covers etc.
if I cant get the S3 ali pegs i might splash out on some raptors, 120 quid is a hell of alotta money though

sounds like a plan stan, ill go down to the local spray shop and get a price!
really looking forward to getting it now, hopefully be with me in about a week.
in the mean time I can spend way too much on trick bits.

but my bike is better than your bike!
Ive ridden an 07 scorpa and found it a nice solid ride, it felt a little heavier than others but not really a problem, I also owned a 2002 scorpa (before it was stolen) and the only thing i disliked about it was that the carb was a pain to get off.
I have ridden an 05 sherco but I wouldnt like to put my opinion on it as it was a bit old and I dont think it was very well maintained!!

Wont turn my fingers green will it?

all that bling would be wasted on that 125....
and did you just do that!!??
will have to take the picture to my dealer and say "make it look like that"

Looking to get some full lengh fork protectors (that cover the tubes aswell) for my new gasser, is there any that anyone would reccomend?
Also looking for something to protect the exhaust but have only seen the JT7 exhaust but that looks tricky to fit (plus I could probably buy a new exhaust for the price of it!)
also looking for any other sweet trick bits that will inevitably look nackered after 1 days riding (sigh)
All the best

I also spoke to one of the mechanics at gasgas UK and he said it should be fine for the clubman, either way, it can be softened out if it is too much so nothing to worry about really.

Thanks for the reply pete.
ordered the bike along with red anodised wheels and sump guard (couldnt help myself)
spose the best way is to suck it and see hehe, ive always liked torquey bikes and dont ride in many places where theres no grip so should be manageable i think. soon find out hehe.
Thanks again!
