Hi, there seems to be a problem with the silencer on my dad's 2010 300 4T evo, if you give it a little thump on the carbon protector you can hear it rattle, sounds like tubes are bashing together inside it, got the silencer replaced then tried it & the noise stopped, got it back home, started it up then it was doing it again with a brand new silencer fitted. the old silencer was still making the noise when it was off the bike, it's a sort of noise what you would hear when say the baffles are loose inside. you can hear the noise when you rev the bike up & ride it about. Any help would be really good, Cheers, Ben.
  3. A lot of people prefer 250's rather than 280's & 300's because the power isn't really aggresive & snappy from the bottom end, i used to own a 2009 300 pro & it was a bit of an animal to control, but when i had a go on a 250 i didn't like it to be honest, it felt like it didn't have enough stick for my likeing, but now got an evo 290 which is just perfect. Cheers, Ben.
  4. Awesome riding from Cabby there, new Sherco sounds good as well.
  5. Cheers Mate.
  6. Cheers Dabs i no wiggy has one, but what does he think of it over the standard exhaust? Cheers, Ben.

& you just proved that you think no one ever makes mistakes. just trying to tell you i made a mistake, surely it's a bit harsh with your first reply, what did you expect me to say back to be honest lol. don't bother calling me a little boy again, just because i made one mistake. stevel, cheers mate!

when it said that it fitted any pro model from 2002 onwards i thought it meant in the standard heads, sorry. but don't even call me a little boy, i'm nearly 16 you f*****g idiot, get a life. I know very much what i am talking about, just happened to get a little confused on the description.

Instead of buying the actual cylinder head you could just use an insert for it, they do very high ones for the 125's which i would of thought would make a big difference. & they will also fit in the standard cylinder heads. http://www.trialendurodirect.com/products/...erts___770.html
  11. My mate has a set on his 09 125 Gasser with the standard 09 plastics, they look nice.

Definatly the 290 evo, my 2010 is absolutly superb, lovely to ride. i used to own a GG 300 pro 09 & the power in that was just ridiculous, especially from the bottom end. much prefer the evo 290 anyday.

I think on the 09's they had a few problems with the Carb, leaking issues, so that may just be something to watch out for. I think Lampkins do a Mod for it. Enjoy it though, they are a superb bike.
  14. I wouldn't reccomend one of those to be honest, there basically a cheap & nasty version of the Keihin carb.

Looks Superb, a lot of time & effort must have been put into that, i love the colour scheme as well!!
  16. Lol, i no there in a bit of a different League.
  17. I prefer the 290 more, but when i have had a go on the 300 4t though the power curve & smoothness was superb. sounds brilliant as well. from having a go on a Sherco 4t & a Montesa 4RT the Evo 300 just feels so much nicer & easier to ride.
  18. Mine is a Craghoppers one mate, but other makes such as Berghaus & Regatta make them also. Cheers, Ben.
  19. A bloke who i ride with & my dad have both got 2010 300 4t's, they are brilliant bikes, the power curve is superb & the mapping switch actually makes a lot of difference. a good bike in general. Cheers, Ben.
  20. Hi Scotty97, i ended up purchasing a micro fleece which is brilliant, thin, lightweight, warm, couldn't ask for better.
  21. Keihin Carb definatly, jetted up right, on my old 125 i had a Keihin in & it seemed to pull a lot better. Ben.
  22. Hi, thanks for your reply, but i have found myself one now, Cheers.
  23. GasGas UK, sell these. http://www.trialendurodirect.com/products/...G_Pro__791.html

if they are the standard footrests on the 08 Raga, i don't think you can buy them separatly, i think it is only the Hardrock's that are available separatly.
  25. I was talking to a bloke at the dirt bike show from MRS & he was saying that they are working on the 4t frame now at the factory which is going to have a few minor changes compared to the 2 stroke, apparently the 2-stroke frame can not hold the 4t engine, so they are doing a few changes with it so it will. Ben.
