No Idea as yet, the sound has now dissapeared again, hopefully going to take the flywheel off this week and take a look, still not had chance yet. Will keep you posted though when i know what was causing it.

Hi, About a month ago this strange Tizz/High pitch Buzzing sound started on My 2010 Evo 290, Then the week after it dissapeared and didn't come back, Strangly Yesterday it came back & it sounds as though to me it is coming somewhere from near the flywheel, had the ignition cover off and everything seems to be running ok inside, the noise has no effect on the engine, still runs perfect. At first i suspected it was the Fan rubbing against the radiator, but it wasn't that. The bike isn't overheating, the noise doesn't go away when you pull the clutch in, also noticed it only does it when the engine is warm, not when cold. gearbox oil is ok and the bike is running perfectly fine, just a strange high pitch noise coming from near the flywheel area, Just wondering if anyone has had this problem on your Evo's Thanks for your help, Ben.

Mine was the Same, read the Beta Clutch fix at the top of the page, follow all the steps, just done mine & is a lot better. But Odd times it still won't shift up gears though. If it's a 1998 bike, it's a techno, but if it's a 2000- Onwards it's a Rev3, got any pics of it?

My dad has got a 2010 300 4T, it's superb, really nice to ride, dead smooth, got plenty of power when needed, just brilliant in general.

No difference to be honest mate, i have always used the twin air filters in my bike though. but there all basically the same.

That Happens with lots of pictures of new bikes soon to be released, e.g same with the 09 Raga with an X-light rear tyre fitted on the release image, but actually came with an X11, & the 09 Standard gassers were pictured with carbon silencers but came with standard exhausts, it's not like red wheels & red hoses are going to make any difference to the bike!
