Hi, Lee cant really help you but the standard footrest and position is awfull, rode one of my 200 Fantics around the other day and felt that I was perched in the air,so for me , I would have to get them moved and changed too. What I cant understand is that when I rode these 200 s in the early 80s with a bit of success ,the position of foot rests was never an issue .So I hope some one out there can furnish us both with the info, hope all is well Lee ,The Exmoor 3 day is now the 2 day but an extra event is planned also. What makes me laugh is that people seem to highlight the mods that the top boys make to their bikes ie Dave Pye and Phil Whiffen, the lesser runners like myself can go un noticed ,ideal. My point is ,is just sour grapes?.Its their bikes ,their business,most of the people complaining could not perform like these 2 chaps even if they were on a modern bike .

Hi there, just got myself another 300 fantic ,as its from France it is one of those that the engine is 239cc as opposed to 249cc as per UK spec. Does any body know what these go like ,is there a noticeable difference or none at all and also what was the reason for this reduction in capacity any way. And if Ms Sandifords attitude and customer service abilities were any thing to go by , I for one am not suprised the company has folded. Sorry to have to say this but i know my view is shared by others and could serve as a lesson for others in business .These remarks are not as a result of some disagreement in the past ,just a personal observation .

yes the yolks were different i have several fantics and they vary .The ones that are more forward give a better steer.Ihave just fitted the fat bar conversion from classictrial ,this is a modified top yolk and is very effective.
