Most bearing suppliers sell it, or screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/prods/87639/Plumbing/Plumbing-Accessories/No-Nonsense-Pipe-Thread-Seal
  3. Could just be ability, or lack of. I'le have a Titanic Stout.

  10. As above, but also get some shin/knee protection. Down hill cycle stuff is good and generally light.

    Coppa Slip

Thanks for the reply's, I have been using it for years, but a friend (chemistry graduate)sowed the seed of doubt. The only place I never lubricate is the plug thread, always seems to be enough oil kicking about to do the job. I've noticed that the steel ignition case saver never rusts, even with no paint, so some sacrificial process is going on. Ross

    Coppa Slip

I don't need any convincing on the benefits of coppa slip, however, should it be used on Rotax motors? Will the motor act as a sacrificial anode ?

A very respected wheel builder up here(who has a successful engineering company)never builds trials wheels with stainless spokes, galvanised has some elasticity.
  14. Corrosion sounds more of an "atmospheric" issue that would probably affect electronic ignition in time also. As said by others, points are generally reliable, and much cheaper to replace.

  16. Width is probably not an issue provided the load is properly marked, and if appropriately lit front and back.

    Nice SWM on t'bay

I think the consensus is that it must be worth 2 - 2.5K, and as said, would probably be the cheep way to a bike of this (apparent) standard. If the sump guard is anything to go by it hasn't had a lot of use. Trouble is it's almost to good to use !

  21. Ever seen the length of the inlet tract on a Rotax disc valve motor ? Must be 150mm.

    Clutch set up

Hi Mark Prepared to live with it slipping a bit in higher gears, just have to wait for the clutch to bite. Well worth it for a 1 finger clutch. I have a selection of clutch springs so may swap them later. Just info on setting up the adjuster required. Anybody ? Ross
