Hi gjbiker Gavin ?
Thanks for the offer, but also have the inlaws 60th on Saturday night and Sunday will be more of a "blow the cob webbs away" than serious effort.

Not sure a 520 is any stronger, depends on the relative quality.
428 is standard on my B40 which weighs at least 1/2 again.
-
Fork gaiters (disguisers) make it more difficult to measure diameter .
-
The float in the carb might be sticking, try a gentle tap on the body, also switch the petrol on a few minutes before you try starting to give the carb a chance to fill.
-
Think so, but don't see a date :-

What sort of dog is it ? Sounds like a good offer.

Only prob with Craiglash is the 250 mile 5hr round trip, otherwise would come.

A rigid rear is probably better than knackered shocks.

I'm actually sorry I bothered to reply, it was a warning about the outcome in the event of an accident.
Jumping up and down on either end of the rack would almost certainly damage it, or the car, thus proving
beyond doubt its unsuitability.
Sometimes if you put things in simple terms, people understand.

Try jumping on it, that may be a more accurate representation of the loads transferred during a typical journey.
The force transferred when pulling a trailer are completely different to those described above.

Looking at the calendar and don't see anything for the 3rd, and yet the following weekend we have Perth on the Saturday and Scottish classic at Balfron on the Sunday.

Just had a look at Surrey Cycles site and don't see a 1 1/2 listed.
Thought a Mk1 had a tickler, but the 1.5 also has a choke slide in the throttle slide ?
Confused !
-
Don't worry about, it really doesn't matter, UNTIL YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT.
-
What is the difference in weight ?

For info only, wheel has to be stripped to the hub anyway for a reline, cant help with wheel builders in your part of the world.
Speak to Wayne at Billet Parts (who advertises here on TC)as he may well be able to help.

Hi Woody
Good answer as always, but I thought the light springs were dual rate, as they are quoted as 45/55 lbs.
Have the Majicals got spherical bearings ? And how do they compare in price.
I have Rockshocks on my B40, and initially was not impressed with them, but after 3-4 trials they bedded in and I would have to say I cant fault them. The back end is so good (at my standard)that you can ignore it and it sorts itself out, most of the time. I also put another 1/2 - 1 psi in the IRC which got ride of wayward tendencies !

Have you ever tried Rockshocks ?
Interested in the comparisons.

And the information is relayed to his helmet

The Fox shocks looked the part, but in my experience were s***e.
