Your just being cruel .....
-
Probably cheaper to pay trials tax than drive thousands of miles to events.....
-
Good to meet you and your father too, you need to get the tx out from "under the bench"
Is it Robin's Jumbo your working on ? Had a quick shot at the end of the trial, nice bike.
I've entered Alwinton over that weekend, to many trials on at the same time.
-
Think it was Brownrigg, not sure of that part of the world. I was on my tx300.
-
tshock250, were you and your father at a Cumberland classic a few weeks ago ?
-
Husqvarna also have one that fits.
-
Defiantly have some climber cases, will check condition if your interested ? I'm in Edinburgh.
-
-
Museum of flight, near Edinburgh, has a moving model radial engine that has sleeve valves. Well worth a look, but not always on display.
-
Fuel screw is nearest cylinder/inlet, air screw is nearest air filter. The air screw carb can be a pain in the ass.
-
Is it a petrol screw or air screw carb ? Your wasting your time if its an air screw. (from personal experience)

classic condenser failing symptoms.
-
Early swim's and climbers have the "whine as the crankshaft pinion / clutch basket are straight cut gears. Later swm's and TX TXR Aprilia's are helical cut.
-
Since discovered climber crankshaft pinion has
four more teeth than swm/txr air cooled bottom end. Next job is to swap earlier pinion. The clutch basket will also need swapped as earlier bikes helical cut, climber straight cut.
-
I'm sure I have also seen a Ducati 4t transplanted into a swm ?
-
Benvenuti anche, ancora un sacco di amore per la SWM e buone informazioni qui. Ho un TX300 Aprilia che è fondamentalmente l'ultima SWM TwinShock.
-
Are you sure it's not just unburnt 2 stroke ? Is there a lot of grey smoke, are you lossing gear oil. What ratio of 2 stroke are you running, if 25:1 you will get oil coming out the pipe.

Posted by steve fracy on 01 October 2015 - 04:24 AMIts great that you enjoyed so much time on the bike this year, and enjoyed your training time with Jon English, a member of the CMA TAC. All of it had nothing to do with WTC, as it doesn't really exist. What is clear, is that a small group of people in this great country have NO regard for the future of the sport, and continue to blow their own horn, for reasons only know to them.
