Fair comment, I use a compressor to blow most of the water off, they spray with a moisture displacer.

It certainly won't help, the pressure has to escape somewhere. Why would you do that ?

The man perks up at this. "So," the doctor says, "It's for you to decide how
many inches you want. But it's something you'd better discuss with your
wife. I mean, if you had a five inch one before, and you decide to go for a
nine incher, she might be a bit put out. But if you had a nine inch one
before, and you decide only to invest in a five incher this time, she might
be very disappointed. So it's important that she plays a role in helping you make the decision."
The man agrees to talk with his wife.
The doctor comes back the next day. "So," says the doctor, "have you spoken with your wife?"
"I have," says the man.
"And what is the decision?" asks the doctor.
"We're having granite worktops".....

When truing the wheel, eliminate up and down movement before side to side.

All good now, just crankshaft seal that sits in the disc valve cover. Cheers Steve.

10 / 42 is getting there, but 1st feels like a low 2nd. Need to try it properly, would going from 42 to 44 make a noticeable difference ?

I've discovered a 42 in the pile, so will see what that's like.

Any suggestions of best sprocket combination ? 10/11 & 42 seems to be the most common.

Update, the oil seal in the disc valve cover was rattling about and far from being seated properly. I have a new one so will fit and hope !!
The disc valve o ring is in good condition, and screws were tight.

Yes, and points to a carb problem.

Put a little 2 stroke mixture down plug hole and try again.
