I would expect shocks to have improved a little in over 3 decades ? My comparison is slightly more valid in that I have owened and competed with both Fox and Rockshocks on the same make, model and year of bike.

Had Foxshocks back in the day, wasn't impressed. If you like them, you would love Rockshocks, and all Brittish made.
