As above, always put some oil down the push rod tube (easiest way to get it in) so pump has something to work on.

Whens the last time you cleaned the carb out ? You tried running it a little richer on the petrol screw, of experimenting with needle position ?

Hi Ian, what ratio are you running ? Have you repacked the first box ? Has it had a decent run at speed to really clear the exhaust out. The first pipe can also be full of carbon, I stuck a hot air paint stripper in one and it burnt for a long time.

Rotax 240 motor so jetting probably no relevant, but I have all the info if your interested. Only chimed in to save you wasting time with an air screw carb.

PHBH26BS is what I ordered,(tickover and petrol screw on left when sitting on bike) about £115 .

Air screw Dellorto carbs of that era weren't very good, go for a petrol screw type.
