  1. The 1995 model had crankcase cooling and that was blanked off on later 95 bikes due to main bearing problems, as far as I can remember that was the only year it was fitted.
  2. Absolutely brilliant just keep watching it over an over again and it creases me up
  3. Looks like wiggy and the four stroke like the Japan air better than the scottish.
  4. Pure trials Gold. The Morlais Quarry even features in part 1 me thinks. Good to see the old TY being thrown at some world round sections and Bosco Figures gloves.
  5. Totally agree get Big John on the Mic. (Mind you with his knowledge and facts he knows about the riders the presentation alone will take 6 days)
  6. I too went to this world round and did it ever rain that day!!!!!!! This was in the days that even world rounds were run with road work and this round used a couple other groups of sections if my memory serves me right one being Langrish where the Sidecar cross GP has been held in recent time, I've probably got a program for the event somewhere in paper mache form! Grandstand covered the world round from Myther Tydfill in Wales the year Steve Saunders was riding a Screenart Beta.
  7. Whats the weather doing in Bangor today, is it going to be a good day for the boys that like it wet.(oh er missus)
  8. This might seem like a thick question, I'm looking to upgrade my trusty old Gas Gas and have seen some quite reasonable bikes for sale privately but dont want to spend all my hard earned cash on a bike and find it is stolen, so any ideas on how I can check apart from the obvious like - Check the engine numbers against any paper work the owner may have, ask question on how long they have had it or just walk away if they have no documentation of proof of sale. Would the importer of the model be able to tell me if it was stolen if I was to ring them with the Engine and frame number.
  9. So who is number 245 then Big John is it you?????? Will you be doing your bit on Nevis Radio breakfast show again this year?

    Contact 1995

Whites still had some of these last year as I fitted one to mine as the casing had corroded where the union goes into the crankcase down by the front sprocket so I have now blanked it off.
  11. What about Amos for fastest time or even the outright win. Certainly in with a shout for providing the most enterainment.
  12. Hard to believe the guy risked his life every time he got in his rally car driving at crazy speeds through woods on slippery roads and tracks, yet he finally meets his maker doing something hundreds of people do a day. A very sad loss of a man fully committed to everything he done.
  13. Ive got the kit in the first picture which would be correct as my bike is an 1995 model part number R340004 according to the invoice.
  14. Ive had problems with my front brake so decided to try a seal kit, which has arrived, when Ive come to fit it the bag of new bits contains an extra washer that I cant see in the old master cylinder. The washer is 10mm in diameter with a 4mm hole and about 1mm thick, any ideas where it goes or is it a universal kit that is used on more than one cylinder. Any sugestions gratefully recieved.
  15. Dont know who took it, saw some bloke lied on the floor with a camera at Fersit, guess it must have been him
  16. He certainly has got his name on the factory truck along with Adam Raga and Alex Wigg. Thought he had the space left when one of the spaniards (Fajardo i think) left for Beta.
  17. Really enjoyed my week at the SSDT last week made all the more interesting listening to Nevis radio and Big John on the breakfast show. It can only do the reputation of the trial and the people involved good having coverage like that with all the good humoured banter that was going on.
  18. Getting close now, just packed the car up for an early start tomorrow morning.
  19. Hi all I will be up there all week, would be nice to meet up and put a few faces to names.
  20. Congratulations to Toni a great win great for some-one else other than that big headed plank Raga to win. Bit off topic but think you may have opened a can of worms with this coment. I cant see for the life of me how you can say that the Lampkins are not ambassadors for the sport I can't think of a better family to promote the sport in the UK or worldwide.
  21. Totally agree with you Andy, Jarvis without a doubt has the best back-up with Malcolm knowing every book thats ever been wrote with tricks in. Wiggy not gona have the experience to win this year but he sure gona learn quickly just look who the 2 old hands are he is riding in between, he's got Wayne Braybrook in front and Shirty behind, two that have borrowed some of Malcolm's books of tricks. Can't see any-one touching him for best first-timer.
  22. Is it now official that the world round is going to be at Hawkstone again then
  23. Thanks for the offer boofont but will have a car with me think you miss interpreted my original post. The plan is for all of the group to drive up on the Saturday before, then on the Thursday one is flying home so I will have to drive them to the airport for lunch time to catch their flight home, then hopefully be back around Fort William to catch the last group of sections, which hopfully will be to the north of Fort Bill. (think its usally Chairlift - Fersit day)?
  24. Thanks for the advice guys. Flight is booked Inverness to Bristol on Easyjet for
