There is a few things you can do but get to know a good physio if you can even if you have to pay, I do and it is worth every penny to have a tame one. One of mine was sorted using cortisone the other took much longer with acupuncture and my inabibility not to work. The arm band thingys work as does stretching the hands before trialing. good luck no quick fix.

I think for a novice clubman a 2t would be easier to maintan and ride. Would hold its value better too? Avoid the 125 if you can unless you are trail riding.

I guessed that may be your answer and would say that over here we learn quickly that you buy very little at airports or its environs. It is never "easy" and having seen that you all found it difficult at times only makes pats achievements to date all the more notable. If it was easy then anyone could do it. My only comment would be that you need to take a step back and see it from say a middle england point of view, we have everything we need its fairly reasonable to live, and then to plunge into Spain or France worse still Poland or Czecho is just as difficult to begin with, but thats what the wtc scene is about. Embrace and learn take advice and stay as much as possible then it becomes easier with every trip. Raga did the full British championship in (2001?) simply to learn the terrain and so on, but best of luck and keep pat off the 290!

Bet the Danbys had the same experience......... Piastons were never changed I'm sure. Exhausts were changed only when flattened apart from repaacking, so you are wrong, wrong and wrong!!!

4 TL 01.1 GENERAL The UEM has established the UEM Trial European Championship and a UEM Junior Trial Cup according to the rules of the UEM Sporting Code and the other Codes as well as this appendix. The European Championship is open to riders of at least 16 years of age at the date of the event, are from a UEM Member FMN and who have not been classified in the first fifteen positions of the final standings of the World Individual Championship for Trial during the last three years. Previous winners of the Championship are not permitted to compete. Riders from FIM Federations outside the UEM are permitted to compete but will not be eligible for Championship points. NB: All riders of less than 18 years of age at the date of the event will be restricted to machines of a capacity not exceeding 125cc. The UEM Junior Trial Cup is restricted to riders of at least 16 years of age at the date of the event and who are not more than 21 years during the current year, are from a UEM Member FMN and riding machines of not more than 125cc. An International Class shall be included in each event for riders of at least 18 years of age who will compete on the sections for the Junior Cup. NB: There is no overall classification for this class.

Whoa there, per se look it up atom, don't distort. An american who can challenge for WTC points is probably good for trials. Whether this is Pat depends on lots of things..........getting stuck in is the first step taking advice is another. Mine counts for next to nowt but theres others worth listening to. Time penalties are very important and are learned on the way up, in europe. For example either 04 or 05 wiggy lost a euro youth round when clean because he took longer to complete the course, time is part of this game. Since then I could count time penalties on one hand I bet. Always is in euro/wtc so learn fast. Raga help a youth, somehow when he doesn't even acknowledge their exsistance I doubt it.

I don't see where you get this attitude from, only trying to help! I don't need Jordi to tell me how well youare/arenot doing I've seen the kid up close, very close in 2007 and these last two 08 events. We never wanted Americans per se, its great for you guys to have someone to cheer but it means diddly squat whether he's here or not imho. Didn't know Sigmund rode trials, and quite how someone with a liking for charlie could help a young lad escapes me. IMHO.
