  1. Its you its been in tmx for weeks, always in November and if you call them in october they will book you in, why not make a note in your diary now?
  2. I think that is how the championship events are run presently, it is not a suggestion of waynes, but I could be wrong.
  3. I think thats Fabio Lenzi's bike........
  4. I see where you are coming from and to some degree the ACU dithering has affected some of the top youth riders in the UK. France and Spain (I'm pretty sure) have followed the FIM lead insomuch as any rider under 18 years old should ride no more than a 125. Alexz Wigg and Ross Danby have stuck on the 125's exclusively this year and I think have benefitted from their choice, Alexz in winning (for the second year running) the Youth European title (14 to 16 only 125cc allowed) and Ross who has had some terrific results including a podium in the youth WTC (16 to 18)at hawkstone. Sam Haslam has opted to ride mainly a 250 and the swap to a 125cc has not been that succesful considering his ability/results. I believe that Ross and Alexz and to a less extent Lee Sampson have taken a longer term view that to be successful at World level they cannot ride a 250 till 18 so a 125 is the bike to be on till then. They both have a couple of years to go before they are 18.By that time they will benefit from the riding techniques and effort they have to put in to get the 125's to do as much as the smaller bikes can do. Maybe?
  5. Ahh Damien I get it now. 666 and all that.
  6. I actually think you may have hit on something there john, perhaps there should be a Clubman northern/southern/eastern etc. experts? There is a definate need for it, 78 entered, and even though I was well down from the top had a great day out and had a challenge which was near enough right to entice me back. there is without doubt an increasing number of older riders who can ride a bit and this type of trial is not common enough. This is hopefully where the over 40 class in the Novogar will come in.
  7. You've started already Lane I'm sure I explained before yes a rider from outside Europe can compete in the 125 championship of europe, just don't count in the championship. This championship is for 14 to 16 year olds and run over 3 rounds during the summer months. Apart from that its the same for all as far as I can see, what you need is that youth in the usa are limited to 125cc until they are 18. There are very few youths on full factory contracts.
  8. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a free lunch, you wouldn't pay for this site, I would. You would like the advertisers to psy fair enough. They sell products whose prices are fixed by simple economics, buy a product sell it for a profit which covers costs etc, who pays for the site you ARE already! An oversimplification but near enough.
  9. If it were a Junior or youth class to "align" with europe I could see the point, or if there is real demand try it experimental for a year, but as Al says why?
  10. credit where its due if anyone on here had produced a mag imbtween their normal job would it be half as good? If it was down to economics then a YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE will never make it in the UK unless TBM can magic something from the ashes?
  11. O thought it was a good trial on the whole but the sections have been very very similar for 3 years now, and colud do with a change possibly. If I was to critisise anything on the clubman route it would be the fact that a handful (6 out of 20) were very straightforward.
  12. Made adifference to my bottom end (290 04) and I think the Gas Gas uk riders (125) like them because of the improvement throughout the rev range.
  13. Whatever you do Andy or anyone else for that matter if you do a calender the USP should be that the calender bit should be a trials one, ie saturday and Sunday are big with a space to fill in details the rest of the days are small, if you see what I mean.

I would imagine there are very few (if any) comerfords replicas in the USA, unless copied over there Dave Renham might know otherwise. I think the vesty/reynolds copy was one produced by someone up north possibly for JR. It is nicely done and is a bit more trick looking though the positions of the shocks are not that different and the advantages of one over the other are not great. Comerfords replica I would guess around 100 the others very few.

Both have the late Ally head steadies which were a vast improvement on the old pressed steel things, easy to copy, triangulate from the head to the normal points on the frame and a simple bracket on the head, works well and think it stops the frames from bending aswell.

what do you want to know theres mo mystery is there? I have beaten myself with a prickly thorn and promised to give it a wash tonight. The one above is a vesty/reynolds copy I think this one is the standard Comerfords, swinging arms interchanged.
