  1. No did the general one and that was a saturday I couldn't afford off, but would be interested to know where the sponsorship money goes and the proposals for the 125 class. I think the open/restricted is a great idea though. You going?
  2. I'm in no doubt about how much work is involved in setting a trial out, just wondered how the finances work down to
  3. Stu, even me in my meekest thoughts I can't BELIEVE you answered this question as above, yourself being so knowlegeble in trials! Apparently changing next year, open and restricted events only, if its gone through, there will not be any "Nationals" any more just "open" events. Then there will be "Restricted" events which will have a restriction as to entry i.e. only Bradford members or only yorkshire centre or only east yorks and Yorkshire etc. In theory i think anyway.
  4. In the 70's or early 80's there was a film which had a chase and the guy knocked over a postman who happened to have a montesa he then proceeded to ride over loads of cars in a jam, does anyone know the film? Was it lane on the bike?
  5. Are you the lad who uses an adjustable or mole grips on every nut and bolt instead of a spanner or socket? If you change a few tyres then the YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE beader is essential, and makes life soooooooooooo easy. Buy it you will not be disappointed, forget the innertube.
  6. Lets hope yeadon guisley take note of what the ACU and I believe the majority want and thats an easier Chris Carter.
  7. Novogar is single route hence the idea to ease it back a bit.
  8. The Novogars are supposed to be eased next year, so how good are you, Are you a S E centre expert?
  9. So who gets the money, and why are entries so much?
  10. In bikes for sale he thinks a 2003 Scorpa is worth
  11. Tony osmond was quite a small guy with big pockets at the time, made a fortune from gimmick records and christmas pop hits. Did alot of touring and totp's appearences. Wasn't a good rider but always had an immaculate bike.
  12. Alexz made the decision himself to compete exclusively on a 125 this year, and the comments above only reinforce my feeling that in the reporting of the British Championships (youth) very little has been made of the fact that both he and Ross Danby have been up against the 250 machines. At the IOW Alexz had 3 machines, one for him, one for Alfredo Gomez (of Spain) and one spare as they were both competing in the A Class in the day and the very good (well done Alan Stay and team) indoor event in the evening. A spare machine is used as a minder bike in all his European events which as you rightly said he was champion this year, 2nd. year running. All the other riders at the euro events do the same. Most of this information is available from his website http://www.alexzwigg.com/. (Note spelling). Alexz would love to do the Youth WTC next year, a big committment in every way, but nothing is sorted as yet and he is considering all his options at the moment. It is his GCSE examination year which will restrict him competing to some extent. If anyone has any offers of help contact him via his website, thanks. Hopefully early next year he will be able to announce what his plans are here on Trials Central!
  13. I don't suppose that anyone will divulge what the Appleyard sponsorship of the British Champs cost, just interested really. Where does the money go to though, and is it the most expensive for entries?
  14. See the rypusa website. There is a guy at the factory who does these in a matter of minutes every time, its down to technique unless there is something unusually wrong. new rim band and follow the technique should be ok
  15. Yes that was me on a 250 Gas Gas and very nice it was too!

    Thats a poly one painted.
  17. By the look of the terrain the 300 pro will be an asset. Look after the G G and I'm sure it will be reliable. Perhaps a flywheel weight and softening up would be good? Man does that look good out there.
  18. Did I miss the report in TMX where it explained why trialsworld was no more?
  19. Sherco clutches drag they don't usually slip, if you mean when you start them?
