Rode the 05 250 and 290 back to back and the 250 was alot tamer than it had been in the past. Still prefered the 290 though.
-
Hiccup on delivery so changing in december.
-
I would have bid for it had I known that.
Was it washed or dirty?
-
Perhaps Nigel is up for the WTC in 2006 but I guess at 51 he is happy to finish the Scott, clean up on his Suzy when he rides it, set out the lakes 2 day etc. rather than 15' rock steps?
Try again.

What a good idea, Alan Stay did a similar thing by building up the Youth indoor and having a captive audience. If it were billed as say the british twishock classic, just the same as nationals were in the 70's and 80's I think you would get a decent turnout. Dual routes?
(I will put up a prize for best performance on a 340 ridden by a southern rider of more than 45 with glassesetc etc! )
-
Scorpa have also signed another wtc rider other than Freixa.
-
Think its the air gap on the pick up but not too sure as its munches bike.
-
Munch cured this speak to him.
-
Freixa is on his way and the concensus is Scorpa. He was excluded from the 06 test session a week or so back for just that reason.
-
Definately english lads leaning on the van looks like Pete Cartwright and is it Gerald Richardson in the Foreground? My guess is 1983ish ?
-
Yep keihin better at top, but jetted right should be as good as a dellorto, low down 46 115?
-
With me it just depends on dates, school term is better as I don't holiday then, but thats personel to me. Bracken rocks would be a possible venue.
-
Alexz was on a 9 46 set up most of the year I think which he has gone up maybe to a 48 if I'm right. Think this makes the 2nd gear more usable and not so prone to bogging down. Keihin is a must apparently.
-
Perce will explain but I think you are under the assumption it is the same course each year, it isn't. Again I think it was longer by 30 mins or so, Grimbo probably went just as fast this year.
-
I will try, I only brought it up as I know my capabilities and getting round the Scott is a bit ( well maybe alot) more than I could manage, but I would love to do some as part of a team.
-
Youth motor sport association I think, try this http://www.ymsatrials.co.uk/

Final Round of the YMSA trials held at Bracken Rocks today
Wigg 29 1st.
Morton 2nd
Danby 3rd
Wigg wins championship, Danby 2nd Morton 3rd.
-
Needless to say I will be straight on the phone first thing explaining my part in the great result. Let me add here that the Gas Gas rider with me (alot younger than me) didn't offer to run the 100metres with the can and the montesa lover remained behind the wall while i hauled my fat ar$e across the field. Incidentally it wouldn't have made any difference to the result as he had enough time to push back anyway. Would have done the same for anyone aswell. Think colleys extra sized tank was a good idea.
Great day roll on next year and can we raise a TC charity team?
-
I think that its a lovely bike but begs the question why? The later 340's were so much better and the earlier ones more interesting,
-
What, is it the picture that makes the spectator in the background out of proportion?
-
A very well done to Maria there were plenty of lads that didn't make it, good names too.
Physco looked focussed, toplads look so smooth, knighter looked to be crashing through a bit, Jarvis looked slow and gentle in our section. Colleys bike sounded very very special, apparently Raga's motor. Dabill was good Browny fived, rest much as you would expect. Most we had at one time in a not too long section 7!
Saw Kinell take an early bath (section 9) then proceeded to copy him after everyone had gone, great day roll on next year.
-
Don't want to generalise but never have worked out why the Americans play with jetting, the standard settings 33 and 125ish work fine everywhere in the UK.
-
E mail me and I will forward your question to Julian Wigg.
-
Ahh thats easy theres 3 trials over two days in October where the organisers live in the foreign land called the isles of white I think. Easy to recognise the organiser as he wears some very unusual clothing.
