And how many non fiddle bikes ride in the classic series currently?
I agree 100% the over 40's should have a seperate championship last weeks result over 40 winner on 4 pre 65 winner 70, just wrong.
I think my beef with sidecars at some events is that the organisers thinking the sections for sidecars are ok for the others, last years west of england (I think it was) was appalling.

I always use silicone when there is a chance to get into deep water, otherwise its not needed. I squirt it between the airbox and frame then push the mudgaurd on and run a small bead between and tidy with a wet finger. Nice. Always use clear.

Possibly yes, never seen the point of putting a third wheel on as its hard enough for me with just the two!
seriously I do wonder why there is a british championship though, and have felt that for years they have spoilt the classic series.

Why bother springs to mind.
-
There is no youth "championship".
Results from Today
Haslam (250) 32
Wigg (125) 44
Danby (125) 72
Sampson (125?) 79

Spare wheel is the key, you never waste good tyres practicing which means you can keep your best for competitions.

So in the whole of the UK there is a regular entry of 8 crews for a British Championship?

I don't know how good Alan Stay is at marking out an indoor event (or any other for that matter) but unless he has recently done something really special with 5 loaves and fishes he isn't going to be able to set out something which will take marks from Haslam, Wigg, Sampson and Danby and not hurt Jonathan Richardson and Josh Woods. Besides when the above 4 have moved on the others will get ther chance, just the same as Hawkstone this year for Wiggy was not possible, but next year.....

After getting stuck behind a sunday driver the slightly long way I can assure you that 30 secs can mean alot more when you have a 6 hour drive home! kepple way is at the top of the hill aswell so its easier to find going up that way.
-
Turn off just before Bi F where the sign says local traffic, go up the hill its a short cut.

I may be going to a few keep in touch.

I was thinking just that, in a year my bike will probably only be worth 300 less, say 1900, thats a cheap years trialing.
-
I think you are right, but would suggest caution regardless.
What I find unfathomable is why Sherco will have for sale a o5 290 and an 05 bitsa and an 06, and the over supply( in the uk which includes gas gas) has meant that I have to find alot more money to change bikes. I understand in general that dealers are givig 2200 max in part ex for good 05's.
-
No never have had a problem with quality, never had a failure that could really be Shercos fault at all.Maybe I 've been lucky but doubt it. I think they are very well put together. My issue was getiing a first batch bike every year had the latest bits on it then ended up with an 041/2 instead of 05.

Perhaps for people on the Mainland a more detailed location and time could be given?
-
Try those black ones they are good. From MRS.
-
Watch out for the first batch last couple of years I haven't been happy.
-

They were fitted new to my bike 3 trials later they had worrn through to the hard compound. Don't lik the bits you put in the ends they fall out. The soft compound is too soft lovely when new but dont last, ends seem to be fatter than ness there fore felt a bit like I had those daft bar end things.
My reccomendation are the arriete (I think) very plain black grips last for ages and dont seem that hard available from MRS at a good price.Even have a wiring groove.
-
Possibly the worst grips around?
