  1. Birkett has the best working example and my guess is he knows more than most.
  2. How much time Dman have you spent in Europe and what experience have you had of the training in the US versus UK for example? I'm not one to say we aren't better in Europe but surely as Bernie proved it makes no difference where you are from more how much dedication and application you have?????
  3. To be pedantic you cannot be more than 17years old on January 1st 2006 if you want to ride A Class next year, and that will be the last year on 250, although I doubt anyone any good will be riding them.
  4. Who was the commentator? Would it not be better to complain to Duke about this?
  5. Oh, have you ridden the Scorpa then?
  6. I hope they do (novogar) and the idea of the ACU saying please mark it out like this is good. I am going to do as many as I can as an over 40 so I shall be the first to complain if they choose to disregard the intention of the series. YMSA clashed with the euro round this year I think and I guess the British Champs should take priority over what is essentially a club trial? Plus a big and experienced club like Richmond will be able to put on a cracking lap round ,should be interesting. Don't think they had a round of A 7 Bfor awhile either.
  7. Thats a very agreeable agreement then.
  8. Looks like they both get invited to the British Champs meeting, other than that I'm not to sure bit left field that question though.
  9. Hopefully never, but I doubt there would be a WTC if they imposed it against the factories without agreement and that ain't going to happen for a while.
  10. Jetting is right use ultimate fuel and fully synthetic at 80:1, clip leave standard and pilot jet adjust to conditions/bike. Should be fine NgkBP5es or VX equivalent.
  11. Thats another advantage of tubless, but to cure your problem make sure you have really good sized tyre loks and if it still moves let it down, slacken right off the security bolts, push off rim and then it should slide round ok reinflate off you go. Back in the 80's we used a suzuki road lock that was really tight now I sharpen up the ones I have with a file, seems to work.
  12. Sam is off for 4 more weeks then starts rehab. Guess riding is next year earliest, good luck.
  13. Tight I am not but as I regularily get invites from various people to this or that promoting their products and services the (bvm being a good example) I wondered a little at the marketing strategy. Refreshements are not free at BVM perhaps its the perception more than reality.
  14. Dont think there is any difference in a michelin grip either tubed or not, same with IRC. Big advantage is the ease of fitting and no pesky security bolts. I've got tubed on my Bulto. Want to go tubeless though.
  15. BVM test day is free, incredulous that sandifords are charging.
  16. Didn't he run an 04 pipe and Kehin?
  17. So in the world of twinshock how many have discs? 1%? if you want to ban non standard forks wouldn't that be the samething? Front discs only, just seems to be complicating things, why not run the first one and see how many turn up with discs? Or state in regs disc braked machines not eligable for awards but can compete?
  18. Its easy possibly to overlook Sam a little in the grand scheme of things at WTC level, but following on from the announcement in TMX I understand he is not going to do a full year at the WTC next year. He has given it his best shot tried to be as professional as possible and had some decent results and achieved a 12th overall position. OK with Doug he was never going to be the bestof British but he has done amazingly well and how many of us will never ever have got to anywhere like this grade even if we had done the same things. None is my guess. So a big well done and to achieve what he did is nothing to be less than very proud of. Good job!
  19. Had the Kehin on the 04 but when I got my 05 it was so much stronger through the range thought it wasn't worth it. The dellorto is a better carb for the average rider and unless you are a top top expert doubt if you would need it. Know some of the works lads had them on but caby had the 04 front pipe too.

    06 Gas Gas

Oooooooooooooo I love to be right!
  21. Don't think you need bother with the disc brakes really do you? Twinshock with the shocks as standard manufacture is good enough surely? no stop rules?
  22. Neither, I've probably said too much already
