  1. An early gas gas kickstart fits (I think), and with a little filing misses the footrest completely.

  4. Same for me, probably done it 10 times now. Occasionally they take a closer look and its not that unusual to get a spaniel sent to have a look but as yet there not trained to look for trials bikes just dope.
  5. I wouldnt think the r and d is all that much tbh, year on year there improvements are marginal now compared to 07/08 when it first made a real impact at wtc level. I also think that after such a long time the bike as stated above is pretty much how he wants it, and yes its probably alot better than the others. Where their budget is bigger is the team support and service vehicles and personnel.
  6. Whatever is wrong with it, it certainly isnt the spanish championship on tour. The fact that the top 3 are spanish isn't anyones fault, except im sure the rules have extended Raga, Fuji and Cabbys careers. As Gizza says when dougie was winning 7 titles we didnt complain. What I find incomprehensible is just a few years ago there was the 125cc youth, and then junior, then full wtc. It was a natural progression and worked well enough, with the younger classes well supported and popular, and popular in the individual countries aswell. So that meant in England you would get the good lads having a go at "their" world round, same in France, Italy and Spain etc. Then when the rules were bent to suit firstly Laia then Pol Tarres the junior championship lost something along with a name change etc in recent years which stopped the progression. The 125cc class was great and could be brought back in and a junior champs too, and then a minimum age of 18 for the top route possibly? Also make it 7 rounds counting from 12 so the youth dont have to find fares to japan or america? Make the factories have at least two supported riders in each class, or better still a contingency like they have in USA motorcross for privateers who get the bonus paid on resluts? And ffs get the FIM to realise its dying and ask the drop outs oliveras Gomez Gubian Wigg and so on why?
  7. If its got an insert take this out and get a bit machined out ~ if you really want to? My opinion is you need to practice more, if a 200 with a slow throttle is too much then I'm surprised.

    Nice idea for non road registered bikes only though. It might help get some stolen bikes back. Engraving or stamping is fine as long as you dont want to ever sell it. I doubt after breaking in any scroat will even notice a stamped bike and say "oh dear i'm not taking that". Come on dadoff think these things through....

  10. The only time Bou seems not the best is when hes not riding ie struggling or pushing through for a 3. maybe if there were more english cambers roots and slippyness he wouldnt have such a clear advantage?
  11. Bous bike probably is the best. It is vastly different in everyway from astandard 4rt, I understand Eddie karlson commented that even on his improved standard bike it was so far from Bou's it was unbelievable (sic). Bou is the best rider sems fitter and more committed as well.
  12. Toulouse to Andorra? You can, I wouldnt, my guess is any saving on flights would be lost on extra fuel and the choice into Barca (or girona) is much greater time/destinations/carriers.

  14. No its all free but you want to get booked into a hotel and work out a way of getting up and down the hill. i havnt been for a couple of years but think its mainly at the top area? be careful with getting back to Barcelona on Sunday night it can take a while getting out of Andorra.
  15. Yes. he saw the electric water pump on the vertigo so thought he'd try it on the gasser!
  16. went to a world round there couple of years back real good terrain.
  17. be careful with screws they can round off very easily, impact driver is best.
  18. Still repairable when the bolts spin, try not to overtighten
  19. as above qiuck shut off is probably more important
  20. ditch the weight you shouldnt need it on a 250 i found it makes it run on much too much
