  1. Hmm okay.... my comment was aimed at the hypocrasy of that individual church, preaching peace and love on one hand but encouraging it's congregation to hate on the other, maybe shouldn't have quoted the whole post. I have no specific bias, I don't hate anyone individual or group, just don't bring me bad people. However I've faced terrorism directly and I've faced the bigotry and brainwashing that goes with what religion calls peace, I grew up with that crap in the west of Scotland. Islam, to me, is what these psychopaths have labelled themselves to because the Qur'an says it can and over successive generations these people have been brainwashed to thinking that religeous nirvana comes from flying a stolen airliner into a building in New York or exploding a bus in London or blowing up a bar in Bali. "Islamic terrorism" for want of a better label, is no different to what the IRA did or the UDA did. Islam is now a global religion, this terrorism takes place on a global scale, only global events get the coverage they need to be of value. I bet they talk about our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as Western Superpower sponsored terrorism. We talk about choices; western progress has allowed us these choices and religeous freedoms, allowing us to make what we'd call a more civilised judgement, I wouldn't call an event encouraging religeous hatred to be good judgement. The west has dealt with the threats terrorism brings as properly as it can but we'll never ever solve it. On the basis of the topic - I do not believe they should be building a Mosque that close to Ground Zero purely because it sullies the memory of those that died, in fact any major construction on Ground Zero it'self is wrong in my mind. My religion is trials.....don't ya loathe them scramblers ;-)
  2. ......... Florida style christianity, all depends on one's personal levels of hypocrasy!
  3. Far too much time on your hands mate!!
  4. Edited the posts with font problems!!
  5. When you look at what the Tories have done so far it's all largely ideological. Minimise public services to whatever they can get away with, they did it in the early 80's and they are doing it again. They'll scale the military back as much as possible, Kinloss or Lossiemouth plus Leuchars and probably 45 Commando at Arbroath will go in Scotland. They've put a wage freeze in place...much the same as the Labour party's attempts at restricting pay rises. Next on the agenda will be privatisations except they sold off the family silver last time round, BA, BT, BP etc etc, the Royal Mint is next, DVLA and the Passport Agency are on the agenda as well, object to paying nearly
  6. Deffo not me, been too busy to even contemplate nonsense of any sort, it is damn funny however!!

  10. Really don't know what to say Thanks Eric , for every memory you've captured and every memory you given us to savour
  11. TSR 22a and 22b arguement coming up....... ...again Jordi, in Scotland we use NON-STOP therefore people spend their time at WTC and British level trying to figure out whats going on. I had to explain the differences god knows how many times this weekend. If someone has never seen stop rules in action it can be confusing so Chris has a valid point. Observers with minders....might be a good idea...
  12. The observer gave them the latitude to play catch on the big step Mart then moved away as required, Bou's minder did not. The reason it got heated was the minder getting in the observer's way.
  13. The observers have the toughest job of anyone at trials because someone is always trying to pull a fast one. They have to be aware of the gardening going on, aware of blatant cheats like Bruno Camozzi, Minders and managers distracting them while the riders do what they like. The number of times this weekend the observers had to clear minders out of the sections was rediculous, these guys know the rules so they need to be penalised, a few yellow cards would soon keep them out of the sections. The number of them is the real problem, think Raga had 4 around him at one point all causing trouble in the sections. The observers have a tough job, respect them for the job they did.
  14. .....and I've a good close up one from the front the detailing of the bash plate is great.... ...the size of the jump surprised me, I was aiming for the splat couldn't get tracked back in quickly enough
  15. That'll be this wee step.......
  16. Looks kinda showery all weekend unfortunately. Clean lap - I dunno..if they are good long sections the time issue will cause a LOT of problems the way those tapes are marked out
  17. I can see Mark Witham looking at that big chuckie in section 5 and thinking.............. Looking around at the Scottish I wondered how these bottom sections would be done these look interesting. What's traditionally Scotland and the Scottish is right in your face with these sections, I think it will be immense....roll on the weekend

  24. that really is between a rock and a hard place........
  25. DBF, I'd avoid Pirelli like you would avoid the taxman, they are horrific. My old man bought a set for his beta just before he stopped riding (Stroke) but my brother now uses it. First time out he rode the trial with the rear tyre nearly flat and still got no grip, horrible things. Never tried IRC but they seem popular I've always used Michelins when I can.
