  12. Yes do all of this but don't "break it in hard " you should run it in genlty to start with to check everything is running alright. All bolts going into aluminium and put copper grease on them eg the fork bolts into the yokes, the handle bar clamps and brake calipers etc. Also on most of the bolts if you want to keep it in perfect condition. Also get waterproof grease and go round all the spoke nipples on the wheels and pack it round them as this will stop them rusting, like they do. Take the carb of and blow it out just to be sure for yourself as you can't be certain there isnt little things that can get in there at the factory. Another thing is check the swinging arm spindle, and other larger bolts as the factory will use machine tools to put these on and will overtighten them sometimes. Put copper grease on the back of the brake pistons front and rear. Grease the front and rear wheel spindles, swinging arm spindle. I think thats abouts it and enjoy your new bike, wish i was going to get one :/ Will let you know if there is anything else i can think of.

  16. The terrain he might be on, if he's saying he is going to be riding in woods etc this might be very tight and technical therefore will probably be easier using a trials bike as its alot more nimble, instead of lugging around a 110+ kg enduro bike?
  17. is 2010 125 sherco out of the question? new bike with great build quality, looks, and a proven engine with as much bottom and end, ive tryed the evo and gasser and my sherco has more power than both, just another bike you should consider

  21. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has got an aftermarket shock for their Sherco, I was looking at some ohlins ones which had come of a Gas Gas and they said they 'may' fit shercos, also the TRP one. Any thoughts welcome, and do they make a difference, Fray
  22. Hi, looking good. On the note of cheap bikes. I got a 1988 Beta TR34 from someone for 20 quid just needs a tidying up and new suspension linkage bearings, bargain. Looking good though it will surely do the job, Fray
  23. Hi Mark, Glad to hear you've started the sport. I live in Pateley Bridge, and if you've never ridden before go along to some of the local clubs trials and I am sure they won't mind you riding round. The two main clubs running the trials around locally are Ripon MC and Horsforth Trials, both have websites so get on and see when the next trial is, Fray
