I am thinking of getting the electronic ignition system for my 199A 350 Sherpa does anyone know, do they fit straight on ? what effect (if any) to the bottom end power better or worse ? is it easy to time correctly ?

Does anyone have a Cota 25 tail light lense they can part with? It's small, about 1-1/4" round, dome shaped and screws onto the light base. It's the only thing I need for my 25 and so, of course, will pay WAY more than it's worth to get one.

Can or has anyone used tubeless tire with a tube in it on a tube style rim.I was told that it will work fine,and that they hold on to rim better!!!!

Hi lads hope you will be able to help me out. I have a Montesa cota 200 and have a bit of a problem with the gearbox on it. When riding up hill it has a tendency to jump out of gear, has anyone had similar problems on this bike and if so what was it. I had an Ossa that had a similar fault and it was the spring for the detent plunger had snapped, is there a one of these fitted to this bike or is it a different system. Any help would be gratefully received. Cheers Glenn

Just bought myself a new (old) toy, a 1983 Armstrong 320 (what i packed up on when i was but a kid) with the Hiro engine. And wanted to know what fuel i should use (i use Shell Optimax in my 315R), what ratio of fuel/oil mix and what oil to use in the engine ? Any tip's and advice (excluding "sell it !"), and help with spares would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Gaff.

I have decided to replace the AMAL 627 on my 76 MAR and go with the Mikuni VM Carb mod, what I would like assistance with is has anyone out there done this mod and what size Carb did they use and what size Jets did they select. The other question that I have is what setup was used for mounting to the Barrel and to the Airbox. Any and all assistance and recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Glen

I just won the E Bay auction for a former Donato Miglio works Garelli Trial 320. I am very excited to get my hands on this rare and interesting bike. I wonder if there's anyone out there who knows anything about them or has one? I searched the web and found a guy in CZ who is looking for kickstarter parts. I am certain the kicker mechanism is a weakness of this machine. I will be trying to resolve this problem enough to at least ride the old girl a little bit. Heres a picture of the beast. I own a 76 OSSA 250 MAR with the AMAL 627 Carb and have not been able to find any information on this Carb as most of the machines imported to Canada came with the IRZ unit. I am attempting to obtain the original stock configuration Jet sizes(Pilot, Needle Jet, Main Jet) and part numbers for various items(Needle Jet Holder, Float Needle, Float Needle Seat, Carb Gasket and O-Ring Kit)), along with the settings for the Pilot Air Screw, Throttle Stop Screw and the appropriate Clip setting on the Needle. I would if possible like to find any servicing/overhaul/parts information pertaining to this Carb in print(or digital) if available. Can anyone provide any assistance or dire…
