Regs have now been posted for Yeadon Guiseley's round of the Novogar Series. This is to take place on Saturday the 3rd of April this year so make sure you have it marked on the calendar. Regs on Yeadon Guiseley's website.

  5. Regs are now Avialble for the Chris Carter Trophy Trial Run by Yeadon Guiseley and part of the S3 Championship. This is an ADULT only event - with roadwork. Hence Bike and Rider MUST be Road Traffic Act compliant. This is not for crossing roads you WILL be riding on busy roads in the area. Please note the closing date is 30th March 2012. After the protests last year late, telephone or Email entries will NOT be accepted and remember the sooner you get your entry in the better - early entry = late number. Does anyone know what date the Midland Centre Christmas Pudding road trial will be this year? I think it's Redditch MCC that organises it. It clashed with my daughters birthday party last year, and I want to make sure that it doesn't this year. Thanks

The previous classic round the phil king took a bit of a grilling on these pages ealier, but praise where its due, I think sundays Doncaster cup run by Mansfield maun was really good. The weather was fine it started from a pub which served great food and cooked breakfast . To cater for pre 65s, twinshocks and some really good modern bike riders has got to be difficult, but I think they had it spot on, some sections were easy but some were really challanging, the big rock steps and the last double sub were great. 2 twin shock boys finished on single figures but the rest were into doubles and a result was achieved. Thanks to all involved in the organizing and to the o…

Spent some time today getting the pictures and words together as well as uploading some video to YouTube (need to get a better camera maybe) You can find the report on the twinshock.org.uk website. Really enjoyable day as always and good to see a healthy entry.

Hi, thinking of taking the road bike out of winter hibernation this weekend and having a ride down to Castleton to try and catch some of the Cleveland ... are many of the groups/sections near roads ? .... I don't feel a need to see every section .... so are there two or three spots where I could see some decent action without straying too far from the road, or am I likely to have to walk for miles (which isn't much fun wearing roadbike gear!) ?

the course is in perfect condition and the weather forecast is really good (makes a change). the start/parking field is still a little chewed up from the bad weather 4X4 vehicles no problem at all, cars and vans might be better parking in the alternative car park this will be sign posted from the start area and the cricket pavilion. please DO NOT park on the road side or the eskdale car park. cheers PAUL
