Times getting close for Lochabers traditional SSDT precursor, The "Ian Pollock memorial trial" . This event is traditionally based in Kinlochleven and as well as having some of the best scenery and views in Britain it allows entrants to ride a few of the SSDT subs as well as the long ride out in the moors which the trial is famous for. The regs are now available for download at:- www.lochabermcc.co.uk , dont be slow though as entries are limited to 150 and the event in the past has been oversubscribed. Why not make a weekend of it , family , friends all welcome (you can even observe if you are keen enough, with or with out bike, just get in touch). hope to see you all …

This weekend marks the start of the 2006 Outlaw Trials Series in Shawnigan Lake BC- Canada. This is the PREMIER trials series in Canada for twinshock and moderns trials! Round 1 is the Joe Brown Memorial Trial, held in honour of Joe Brown, a longtime Yamaha dealer on Vancouver Island. He was a longtime supporter of trials and also the very first sponsor of yours truly! He still holds the record of the most trials bikes sold by any dealer in North America.Back in the late 70's he sold over 250 TY's in one year! Joe was taken way too early from us 7rs ago by cancer and this is our way of remembering him and keeping his spirit about this great sport alive! Saturday will be …

Manchester 17 MCC are running the first of their popular "Dead Easy" format trials at Victory Quarry on the outskirts of Buxton this Sunday 2nd April. The Dead Easy trials are predominately aimed at beginners and clubmen wishing to have an easy run out. However, due to a loss of venue (due to being water-logged) their usual harder "Masters" Trial will also take place at Victory Quarry with the addition of a hard route. Basically there will be 3 routes to choose from, with an additonal 50/50 option for the adventurous clubmen and Inter riders wishing to tackle some of the harder sections. The white route is for absolute beginners, yellow route for clubman wanting an …

Well everything is going to plan we started setting out today.Theres snow at the buckbarrow group so if this stays it will be interesting. Two laps 20 sections, (11 becks, 4 rocky, 4 banking and 1 hillclimb)usual groups will be visited especially the dreaded avalanche alley. No tight turns but most sections quite long so dont hang aboutif you want to avoid time penalties.110 riders entered so it makes putting the event on worthwhile, even got 20 Pre 75 riders.Remember twinshock riders NO disc brakes as per ACU ruling. Still looking for some observers if anybody is willing to help it would be much apprieciated.
