Just a reminder - the regs are out for this years Mid Wales Novogar round on 24th September. Last year was our first year as a Novogar. We were happy with it. Riders told us they were happy with it, from the top boys to the stragglers at my end of the entry. We aimed to get the top boys on around 15 marks, and we ended up with Sagar on 13 so not far off. Hopefully we can hit roughly the same mark again this year. It is a very sensible round - not easy, but nothing stupid. Lots of streams through brilliant countryside. Good marking for riders and support vehicles. One retirement last year, but that was old Marky G and his hands are made for washing up Throughout the wh…

I am planning on making the long trip up to ride this trial. Is it a good one? I presume it's 40 sections and 1 lap? I understand that it's enter on the day. Will I be able to do day membership as I am a member of a south midland centre club? Cheers Dave

What a fantastic day out! 112 entered for 60 sections for just 12 quid! it just shows that with the right pice of land and sensible sections there are still literally 100's of riders willing to travel for a pre 65 trial although yes there were 'trick' bikes (they rode in a specials class) by far the vast majority were 'bread and butter ' bikes and the biggest class (again) was the clubmen who ride an easier route and only did 45 sections. the piece of land ( estate!) is enourmous with enough potential sections for a dozen trials, at the head of a far flung valley on the Pennines ( the Bronte brother worked nearby) the clerks of course laid out 15 natural sections ( 9 in…

I really want to ride the Lakes Two Day this year, I hear its a fantastic event and a great weekend but dont know what to expect section wise. Is the Trial run on a single route or is there dual route sections? Iam a novice rider and dont want to be in above my head. Any advice would be very welcome.

what a superb trial.a good ride around and a beautifull day.this trial reminds me why i keep riding in trials.all the young guns were riding and enjoying them selves.any body lucky enough to ride near these riders will tell you what a good bunch they are.the problem is when most people see them at the british championship there is no good banter.all the sections today let them demonstrate their natural ability without them having to ride stupid sections.a superb day out.

The Dudley club won the Evesham round of the Midland Centre Group trials series on Sunday at Grove Quarry, a mere 4 points better than the Leamington Victory team. In third place was Evesham 39 marks back, followed by the Stratford Team a distant 214 marks behind the winners. Best ride on the day went to Dudleys Buster Reagan who lost just three marks beating Ben Sprigg by a single dab. The easier B route was always going to be tight at the top and Connor Evans matched his father Dave both on clean. A spirited ride by Eveshams Mick Chapman gave him third place, despite only loosing two marks, one better than Dave Morris who lost three. The under strength S…
