Really big thanks to North Derbyshire Youth MCC and Manchester 17 for putting on a cracker of a trial today. Weather was perfect and a great mix of sections from loose climbs/logs/streams and steps set in incredible countryside. First time I have done the Trial although most of the lads have done it a few times and have always raved about it, can see why now. Dad had a brilliant ride on the 4rt as did young Joe but doubled his score late in the Trial with a silly five. Me,Ralph,Jon and James would have been about the same score mid thirties I hope. 40 sections over a single lap of about 40 miles i think, took 7 hours to complete but seemed to go really quickly, all …

The Bon Accord Motorcycle Club are running a round of the SACU youth, pre 65, twinshock and over 40s championships on the 1st of April 2007 at Craiglash west of Banchory on bonny royal deeside. (Not far from Andy's true home). This is a fairly new venue that the club thinks a lot of. It gives a good lap with a great mix of section types but no burns I'm afraid. If you haven't ridden here before you should try and make it if you have you'll know to come back. The regs and entry form are available on the calander page of TC or from www.bamcc.co.uk.

Hi there I rode the easy route at Lincoln last weekend which was my first trial in nearly two years and only dropped two marks, so it's obvious to say it wasn't too much of a challenge but loved every minute of it, great being back on the bike, so I was wondering what kind of difficulty level I can expect at north ormsby???? I think I want to try the middle route but I dont want to end up walking the bike through sections.

To those planning on riding the Crawley clubs South Coast Group Trial this Sunday, the venue had to be been changed due to a waterlogged car park at the original (Birchanger) venue. The new venue is Faygate Tip at Colgate, which has a hard standing car park area. Any further questions please contact Bob Collins.

The first round of the Scottish youth/over 40's championship at Milnathort has been cancelled due to the land being waterlogged. The club had a phone call from the landowner today to say because of the snow earlier in the week now melted the land is sodden. So unfortunately the club has no choice but to cancel. The club trial scheduled for Saturday 3rd is also cancelled.

Rmc are now underway with the organisation for this years event which will take place on the 20th 21st & 22nd of July. Since last years event the Club have been granted planning permission from the National Parks for the use of the SSSI land which plays such a big part in the routes used. The marking out gangs will have to be out earlier than normal as GPS routes & Way marked section locations have to be provided to comply with the National Parks requirements, this information has to be provided 2 months in advance. Obviously in getting the permissions RMC have incurred substantial costs as a professional Planning Consultant was employed by the Club. So this year…
