Hi everyone, I bought my 10yr old son a beta evo 80 for Christmas, I'm in the North East, I have a beta 300rr myself but thought he would do best learning properly on a trials bike. How difficult are trials events for children? What category would he be in, he's been on it twice and he's picking up gears etc and clutch control (although it needs moving closer to the bar a little). My local dealer does the passes for Croft trials club in Darlington so I'll get him registered although I'd like somewhere we could ride together. Any advice to get my son doing some events would be fantastic. Thanks in advance. I'll be getting him a trials helmet this week

I've looked everywhere I can think of for these, and save for the top 10 or thereabouts that someone kindly posted on TC, they are nowhere to be seen. Come on, don't keep us in suspense YG, did I come last or not??

Just had an email from James Lamin. The Welsh Championship at Neath on 30th Oct - 10.30 start (not as possibly advertised elsewhere), but remember to adjust your clocks the night before. Prompt start to avoid the slight time problems of last year (for some). My totally unbiassed opinion - this was one of the best rounds of last year, run on the same land as the St Davids. Open to allcomers, not just the Welsh (and plastic Yorkshire Welshmen like myself and Lamin). I don't want to steal the thunder from their site if they have one down there, so please anybody fill us in if the details are online somewhere. Otherwise, I'll put any more info I get on here by the end o…

Appears to be a bit of anti European sentiment about today. I feel it would be appropriate to join in by riding only UK built machines this weekend. Please try to make an effort and remember Dunlop Trials Universals only.

I heard that the use of Lauder common may have been lost due to cowboys riding illegally, and that the Plaza trial might not run this year. Can anyone confirm this or is it still possible the trial will go ahead?

Is it me or has the trials content of T&MX reduced. Poor reporting of Ragas WTC win, not a single trials specific item in the new products and certainly less reported in Trials Torque. They are without doubt saving news and reports for trials world magazine. I now only buy T & MX for the trials regs. I must lastly add that I am a fan of TWM, but its success wiull certainly be at the detriment of T & MX.

http://www.keighleynews.co.uk/news/newskei..._thrown_off.php for 20 years we've ridden here never seen an accident never seen racing in the layby but the health and safety boys it must keep them awake at night, i have never seen or seen evidence, of riders leaving the site or riding on the moors adjacent the big fences might have something to do with that. Why cant the council just be honest instead of closing it for our own good.. I've spent the day here midweek watching dougie and big Mart training full transporter the works ( he can ride can that lad) at the weekend sure its busy to busy but surely thats its worth the council should be making provision for more p…
