I know Mike Rapley mentioned this and maybe its been spoke about before but.... Does anyone have any idea/knowledge on the Expert A and Expert B courses that are promised in 09? Q1, someone must know by now if the new course is going to lie in the middle of the existing 2 or below the 2008 experts. There's been many discussions/comments about the 2008 expert course but just exactly what has been decided? Q2, Does any one know if the existing top expert riders from 2008 are been forced/advised to ride "Expert A"? Q3, Are the ACU avoiding this question? (no offence, have checked website but no joy) Q4, Will you have to travel to round 1 to find out? Q5, Which course…

I have a situation where I live that I cannot keep a trials bike but still want to ride one. So I had an idea! Now would someone out there in the West Midlands area be willing to look after a bike for me if I bought one, then bring it to trials events on a regular basis and look after it and maintain it after the trial? For this I would pay all costs plus a few bob on top. I don't want to take the p*** so I would make sure it is worth someone's while to do this. Anybody interested in something like this? You can PM me if you want or email me at ian.beardsall AT googlemail.com Cheers Ian

I ride at clubmen level trials and wwas considering entering the scott trial but im not very sure whether isd be able to manage the sections? Ive watched the trial at places like bridge end, surrender, fremmington edge, underbanks and didnt think these sections were very diificult ( hard yes but not impossible for a clubman) are all the sections very similar or are these just the easier ones? any advice would be good.

Hey, I am going to Wales for a weeks holiday and I am taking my Cycle Trials Bike. Just wondering if there are any events going on as of from 6th August 2010 - 13th August 2010. Also any shops over there? - Cycle Trials shops, Motor Trials shops. I would like to know about Motor Trials Events and Cycle Trials Events that I could go to - either ride or just watch within this time barrier - (6th August 2010 - 13th August 2010). Also any decent riding locations that I could go to. Thanks, Danny.

Well lads & lasses what is your feed back on the Bradford trial on saturday, I as a observer found it ok, more smiles on faces from my spot on the hillside, no1 section. looking at the results the club has bridged the gap. Some of the 125s 50s 80s did really well on sec 1. its good to see the little ones enjoying trials at club level. yours the man in the silly hat ps went to mont 4rt test day. good time had by all

The ACU has just issued a detailed briefing on the Carnet System for importing and re exporting goods into and out of the EU, now that the UK has declined ongoing membership of that particular club. The Carnet system is quite a faff for the amateur and I know the music industry is up in arms about it. However on the Gov UK Customs/Revenue website it seems to say 'personal imports' of 'sporting goods,' giving a longish list which includes cars and motor bikes, will not be included. In that case would the whole Carnet documentation still be required. Or am I just an optimist? Of course this assumes the government will let us out again one day. Does anyone know how this mig…
