FRONT THE FRONT PAGE: Due to the local (short sighted) council our permission to trial at Nigg Bay in Aberdeen has been withdrawn. This is a piece of land that has been in use once a year for at least 30 years but due to one council member who walks his dog nearby we have been informed that unless we jump through hoops we cannot use the land again. The effect is that at very short notice we have had to move this weekends trial to Bellwanders Wood, Stonehaven. If you read this and have friends who were going to Nigg Bay please let them know.

Is there any trial on at the Bike bonanza tomorrow? It's not very well advertised The entry form seems to state it's only at Sallywood park (on private land), but threads on here stated other? and the website is advertising 2014 bonanza!?!?!?!

Hi Guy's After all this snow we have had in the UK, My mind has turned to which are the best value trials boots for the price, and which waterproof sock is the best to wear in them. Has any one bought any army surplus socks and are they any good? Just a bit of a survey before I spend on gear, and not gearboxes. Regard's Charlie.

Not really sure what is going on here, but there is a plea in TMX for results sheets, photograhps, programmes and the sorts to prove the activity of motorcycle events going back to the 1960's. If any one has these they need to email lynda@mauntrials.fsnet.co .uk or fax it to 01623 628176. Anyone know what is going on ?
