To be clear - the idiot refers to me. I know very little of AHRMA beyond a couple of brief conversations with other local vintage enthusiasts. The general sentiment shared was that AHRMA rules can be somewhat strict when it comes to acceptable vintage bikes. Certainly more so than local club events. Having just returned from Scotland where I was fortunate to compete in the Leven 2-day trial, I'm on sensory overload with all the incredibly cool pre-65 bikes I saw over there. And, quite fortunately - I've an opportunity to get some bikes into a container to ship back to the US. I can ride anything I saw over there in my local club vintage classes, as air cooled an…

So this showed up on our event insurance (along with the wrong additional insureds). Trialsmaster clarified with Birdsong insurance if someone falls in a puddle we are not covered without additional insurance. 🫤 So if it rains and you don’t get the additional coverage you are not insured.

Sad news from California. Lane Leavitt passed away on May 16th. Lane was a multi-time U.S. national champion who went on to a career in films and television as a professional stunt man and coordinator improving and inventing systems in common use in the film industry. A larger than life presence. He will be missed.

Our friends at Rhode Island Trials Club / NATC have stepped up to put in the huge effort required to host the World Rounds / Wagner Cup for the FIM and AMA this coming July We ask for your support be it by pre-ordering tickets, volunteering, or helping to raise sponsorship funds. The projected cost is about 18x the amount of money the club has in its bank account. That being said, it will be a triumphant return of the sport's best and bravest athletes, it will be in a location with breathtaking terrain, and it will have incredible camping and paddock action. Two of the sections will be ADA accessible. Parking is free. There is also a trials ride av…

The 2024 national trials series starts this weekend at the Hualapai mountain park in kingman AZ. Afternoon, I’m new to trials, not to vintage racing or trail ridding. I’m in the middle of replacing all four of my trials bike tires. I’m not “ stuck” on any one brand name. So I just ordered a set of really soft Michelins for my Ty175. Was riding a new Beta trials around the lot and couldn’t help but notice at just how sticky the tires were on the Beta trials bike. So I ordered a set. Michelins I’ve got new but older Dunlops, been on my shelf for a couple of years. Those are on a stock TL 125, seem fine but not as sticky as the new Michelin trials tires. im in need of new trials tires for a new to me, Honda TLR200. Keeping my options open, any sugges…

Hello. I'm looking at possibly spending winters in southern Arizona and would like to find out if there are specific area;s that are more trials focused. The plan would be to rent in an RV park and hopefully be able to ride near by. Thanks for any input.

Looking to get back into trials after many years off, rebuilding a Sherpa T to ride and I do not see a lot of vintage competitions available in socal or elsewhere, I know it is big in Europe but does not seem that way here, am I better off just competing at another level instead of bike type?

Hey Folks So it looks like my work will be sending me over to the US for a bit under 1 year as project manager, and I'd really like to see if I can't make the most of that time and try out the trials scene while over there. I'm currently living here in France and riding in Senion 3 class, with an Ossa 300i and a Gasgas 125TXT. Where I live now I'm less than 5min from the local terrain, so get to ride several times a week. I'll be in the Ohio region for the duration of my time there. My thoughts are to try and buy a cheap bike and hook up with a local club.. So my 2 questions are- Whats the scene like ? can anyone point me in the direction of a local cl…

Epic conditions in the Hualapai Mountains as we have had several days of good monsoon rains. SECTIONS are in, granite faces are clean and the weather is cool. This is the same area where the World Event was held in 2017. Is anyone reporting on this? FYI the relics are here, including Dave Pyle on his Montesa
