USA Trials

Are there any trials riders in the Lake Havasu City area? I am vacationing there through Thanksgiving weekend and wondered if anybody did trials around here. Steve Eichelberger

I spend a lot of time in Orlando with my work can anyone tell me where there is a shop that sells Trials gear and if there is a trials club in the area?

I was paging through the January issue of Mens Journal and they had an article about the Best Motorcycles of 2007 and What the Pros Ride on Their Own Time. It had a panel of four Pros that gave their opinion of several different types of bikes. The panel consisted of Nicky Hayden, Travis Pastrana, Steve Hengelveld and our own Geoff Aaron! Each expert had a little bio. Geoff weighed in on the BMW R1200. Pretty cool to get Trials in a mainstream publication like that.

I would like to find other people in WV that like ride trials and maybe put on a trial or two. With all the great land to ride on here in WV they has to be someone else. Thank Scott

Got to ride with and watch a couple of the best in the US today and yesterday. Got to see some amazing riding skills by Bryan Roper and Andrew Putt, along with Bryan's little brother Josh. These guys are top notch!

Is there anywhere that Trials are listed on a state by state basis. I'm a newby and I'm trying to find some novice events to enter. Hopefully somewhere in North Carolina. I see a lot of listings but they are listed by event name not location. Thanks in advance, new TY 350 owner Mike

Afternoon, I’m new to trials, not to vintage racing or trail ridding. I’m in the middle of replacing all four of my trials bike tires. I’m not “ stuck” on any one brand name. So I just ordered a set of really soft Michelins for my Ty175. Was riding a new Beta trials around the lot and couldn’t help but notice at just how sticky the tires were on the Beta trials bike. So I ordered a set. Michelins I’ve got new but older Dunlops, been on my shelf for a couple of years. Those are on a stock TL 125, seem fine but not as sticky as the new Michelin trials tires. im in need of new trials tires for a new to me, Honda TLR200. Keeping my options open, any sugges…

Apparently according to the guys in bike trials dot net they are showing how the trials bicycles are stronger than your generic wally world mart brand... Should be some interesting tv. Hi all, here's the latest items to watch for on TV, specifically 2-wheel Tuesday on Speed Channel. Hope you get it. Last Wednesday, May 19, Speed filmed a neat segment on trials riding by a group of roadracers including 1993 world motogp champ Kevin Schwantz and Formula USA and WERA champs Trey Batey and Michael Martin. After 2 days of instruction in roadracing at the Barber racetrack, the roadrace instructors came to the Trials Training Center to become students of trials riding. Those guys are good! Speed channel will have a really nice segment on an upcoming episode, probably on Tuesday, May 25. That segment will be a nice lead-in to their coverage of the World …

Just a reminder that the show "Guts & Bolts" will have a trials feature tonight at 8:30PM EST (7:30 CST). This show was filmed around 1st of Sept. at the Trials Training Center in TN, with Ray Peters of TTC teaching trials riding techniques to the show's host. They are also reportedly including some bits about the history of trials riding, at least in the U.S. I will be as interested as anyone to see how it comes out; we just tried to be helpful but they do what they want! Good Day Fellow Trials Aficionados . Let me start out with an introduction . I started out Riding The Ohio Woods , Hare scrambles , And Wayne national forest trail system . I really loved the Mud , Rain Snow , etc but the season was way too short . So here i sit in the lower Nevada desert with a gas gas txt 280 2001 and a gas gas ec300 enduro .
