Well those of us with A & B Class riders will be heading down to Devon this weekend. NYL and myself will be in amongest the "B" class entrants. The course is numbered differently this year which will probably help when getting to the "Gulley" sections but many will be aware of the "stoppers". Josh Maude in "B" class and Jon Chambers in "A" are missing but the main runners will be there. The organisation will be better as well. Cheadle left a lot to be desired after our "home" YG round. I know That Dob Park has permanent buildings but trying to find out what was going on in a "tesco" tent was not what I expect from a British National. Neither was the total lack of a Po…

just bought my son a 2004 txt 50 boy and it runs great until its hot, say 15 mins riding ,then it will not rev correctly and sounds as if its either missing or running out of fuel and also has no power. If I stop it for 3 mins then kick it into life it runs great again for 15 mins??? Has anyone had similar problems with this bike? Oh and while i'm here does anyone now which friction plate I must change to enable the clutch to engage sooner?

Hi, Im 15 and can win a novice now quite comfortably in AMCA. Im just wondering what i could ride to see where im at at the moment. Ive only been riding for 1 and a half years. I know a National is too much and i am now starting to ride clubman but this is against adult riders all the time.

  12. This Sunday we will be putting on a Small Wheel trial at the Castleside Club trial at Rogerly Quarry, running alongside the main trial. For the Small Wheels we will use the centre 'bowl' at Rogerly, which is excellent for kids. Big enough to run a 'proper' trial, but close enough for parents to be near. We will run two routes if there is enough demand:- Easy Route for Oset / beginners etc Hard Route for those a little more advanced. Suffice to say neither route will be anything dangerous, but hopefully challenging enough to take marks. There will be a full day, depending upon numbers of riders and observers (helpful parents !) of trial and practice time and I'm su…

  15. Started by jersey stew,

Anybody tried doing an engine swop so as to avoid the crap twist and go thing? Once my boy has grown a bit more we would like to progress to a proper petrol bike but a medium wheel might be too big for him so I was wondering if I could mod a gasgas boy to a proper multi gear bike?? Any ideas?

Richmond Motor Club annual Cogden Hall Youth Training School The Richmond Motor Club annual youth training session took place at Cogden Hall, Grinton, last Wednesday and Thursday under torrential rain conditions. Despite appalling weather sixty four youngsters spent two full days with licensed instructors Richard Sadler, Guy Kendrew, Ian Austermuhle, Jack and James Stones, John Sunter, Rob Waite and Matt Maynard. The girls and boys were divided into eight age and skill groups, ranging from four years old to twelve which were instructed by all eight tutors so they enjoyed guidance from different people. Each of the eight age and skill groups were trained b…

As it say's in the events section, there will be a kids TY80 Route this Sunday at the Castleside trial at Rogerly. Usual format will be half a dozen sections set out and the kids can practice as many times as they want, then run a 6 lap trial. There will then probably be a couple of simple sections marked which they walk then ride without practice. Usual kids who attend - please turn up. For those that are unsure or the kids have never done a trial bring them along - there's no pressure, its to develop them and give them confidence, not to make them struggle. The course will suit all kids including osets. Those who know Rogerly know that it's a great venue for the kids…
