Why oh why have you changed the rules yet again for your series? Why do you keep on trying to kill off the big British bikes?

Does anyone know an alternative bike model that takes the same dust caps as a Beta TR34, Iv searched high and low and been told Beta no longer produces them for TR34 ? The oil seals no problem on there way from the Uk but caps ahhhh... Cheers Timbo

Hi, does anyone have details of the construction of the 1950's Canterbury trials sidecar bodies. I have a chassis and want to build a body. I have quite a few pictures of the outside, clearly aluminium, but don't know if there is a ply or ash frame and floor. I would be grateful for any information, dimensions would be great. Thanks

Hi Folks, I was watching scottish classic trials when I seen a couple of what looked like home made trials bikes possibly using chinese engines, (about 3 mins in) Does anyone know what these are, how they are allowed to compete in classics? I'd enjoy to make one of those if there was any info on building... Regards

Hi Guy's Chris has lost his long 14 year battle with cancer and sadly passed away yesterday. Out thoughts are with his wife and daughter Sarah, who has kept me informed over the last few weeks since Chris was unable to mail me, has he did on a regular basis. Chris was one of the stars of Midlands

When fitting a tubed tyre should security bolts be tightened with it over pressure or at running pressure. any thoughts ?

Anybody here doing this trial this year? Myself and around 8 others from my VMCC section are doing it again. I'm on my 37 Panther.

They are from events in Northern Ireland during the late '50s, but they include a few well known names and stars of yesteryear. Obviously the world has moved on in the last 60 years, but I would expect that many of the bikes in the photos would still have been in use up to our 'pre65' cut off? I wonder how many of these would be considered to be anywhere near competitive in todays pre65 events, and how many of us would consider building or bringing out a similar bike?

... a mate of mine is looking for any information on Ariel Colt trials bikes. I think I recall seeing one many years ago. He's thinking of building one as a project.

Hello all, I have a swinging arm 7 inches wide at the wheel spindle plates. I’m wondering what you Pre65 guys use for a rear wheel hub? Something other than a cub and preferably aluminium. Cheers

hi, i've just been registered on your forum...it looks nice... i own a 1980 250 beamish suzuki,(i've just sold my 325 beamish), a 250 bultaco sherpa t80(1970), and i've just bought a 1978 325 bultaco mod 199...just an answer; i was surprised because the bike was blue, i thought that all 199 models (not a or were red colored, i phoned to two bultaco parts sellers in france, who told me that a small quantity of this model were stock painted in blue....curious.... can anyone give me informations about that?...the tank is not painted, and even the side panels... best regards from france. nicolas

Hi im recommissioning a1980 Beamish. The techomoto throttle has quite some wear and I would like to replace. Are the new Domino throttles a decent replacement? thanks Kev
