  1. Started by cotagb,

The points on my TL320 look a little corroded, so I'd like to replace them. Anyone know of a source in the US for these parts? Common with a snowmobile, or ultralight maybe? I also need the flywheel puller. Will the "MOTION PRO FLYWHEEL PULLER SKI DOO ROTAX CDI IGNITION, 62-2037", fit? Looks like it has lots of options on the hole spacings, but I can't find the dimensions listed. It's pretty pricey, so I would hate to buy it, just to find out it doesn't fit. Any other sources for a puller? Stupid question: is the flywheel nut a "normal" thread, or reverse thread? Stupid question #2: how do people generally hold the flywheel when loosening or tightening the flywhe…

Hi all, I´m thinking of moving the condensor up under the petrol tank so that it can easily be changed. Anyone done this ? I suppose you can just join the three wires where the condensor normaly is and then fit the condensor in the blue wire to the HT coil (or not) ?

  7. Hello I hads some problems getting the front axle off my SWM TL.NW. I just wanted to inspect the front brake as I want to ho to the alpes with the bike and when going downhill good brakes are a must. I could not get out the axle as the speedo drive did not move anywhere, all bolts and nuts where removed! It ended like this that I jacked up the bike really high and pulled the hole front end out (with the stanchions!). This worked very well and I could dismantle the front rear. But agian did not had any possibilitiy to remove the speedo drive, I discoverd (I could not measure that the axle has a notch! and the speedo sits in this notch, so the axle must be made out of …

Hi guys (and galls) I´ve just got hold of a TLM320 Gunaco (with the long ride seat) . It´s an early one and has a clutch cover (casing) thats different to my other ones as it has a seperate small cover in the casing that can be taken off and just one plastic screw cap. Hi all, after a few years of talking about it I finally bought a twin shock, and here it is what a beauty!! http://www.normandym...ry/IMG_6444.JPG OK so its going to need a lot of work to get it right, however under all the grime frame and side panels are not that bad. The engine is going to need a complete rebuild and a barrel as that's missing, but for what I paid for it I expected that. My question to you guys that know, was there ever a SWM in this colour scheme as it seems to be original rather than repainted or powder coated? The panel on the seems to suggest its a 320 from 1980 http://www.normandym...ry/IMG_6445.JPG I wanted to know if I should keep this col…

(No, not that sort) Any information on the modifications that quite a few SWM's seem to sport ? Are they all home grown, or is someone making them. What are the advantages ? The following picture is from the "CampoCanavese2012" (thanks Mike) Ross (Dannilo Galeazzi's bike)

Hi Guys, has anyone knowledge about the early seats on the first gunaco bikes ? My TL 320 Gunaco has a thickly polsterd single seat with SWM Logo in it. I´ve looked for pictures etc. of other ones and they all have the new sort which is much thiner and harder. The bike has following details that can still be read TL / 111179 / 00007 the rest has gone with the years but it must be a quite early one as it has 34 mm forks before they changed to 35 mm. Looking at a picture of the long ride version it seems this had a simular thick seat but was just a bit longer.

Hi All, I just bought a 1982 TL320, and would like to change the fluids. I searched the web, but wasn't able to find the info. So the question is, how much oil for the gearbox; and how much oil for the Betor forks? Thanks.
