I'm trying to collect photo's for the Fantic section of my website. Somewhere in the past I came across a picture of a scantily clad young lady leant across the tank of a Fantic but do you think I can find it anywhere now that I want it !!! Can anyone please point me in the right direction please. Thanks

Im in middle of restoring a 200 Fantic (forward Kick), I have removed all the bolts inside the casing (flywheel side) clutch off the other side but can't split the engine in half, I have managed to open in about 20mm but dont want to force it if I have forgotten to remove something. Can anyone help? Also any recommendations on mods to do to it would be appreciated e.g how much to lower footrest? what shocks should I use?

Anyone know where to find the model number, FM364, on a 303 Fantic. On the frame, engine or both? I'm assuming it would definitely be on the engine somehwere?

I have had a 200 with rear kick start in my garage for years and have decided to restore it, I was wondering if there are any useful modifications that you can recommend, so I can build them into the restoration. Thanks Mark

Just put my new Mikuni VM26 on my Fantic 300 and after adjusting the carb it runs fine. During my practice today i noticed that the carb has an overlfow by the three overflow nozzles. Does anyone now waht this may be? It's a brandnew, un opened, Mikuni carb. Cheers, Bernie

I have an '82 240 and am doing maintenance during the pause in our riding season. I've had several people tell me that it's important to cut the pipe open and replace the internal packing. I don't have a problem doing the work but I can't get anyone to tell why it needs to be done. I understand why I need to repack the muffler but the pipe makes no sense. I can push a piece of tubing clear through. Anyone have an explanation?

Has anybody heard any new news on the new bikes from Fantic? Is the 50/80 going into production? Is there anymore word/pictures on the larger cc 4strokes? Is there a website up for Fantic Motor?? They never seem to be very good at getting public interest do they!

Recently picked up a nice 240. I got it running pretty well after finding the needle mounted over the slide clip instead of under it. I decided to strip it and do a good clean up including burning out the pipe. I have tried all I can think of but I can't figure out how to get the pipe out of the frame. After taking off the springs, air box, clutch cable and rear mud guard I can't get it out! It's loose but I can't get it out, too little clearance. I even dropped the front engine mounts to get clearance. Do you have to take the head off to slide it out? Even tried to remove it backwards through the frame. Also, are carb to airbox boots available, I don't trust mine. Anyo…

I know it's been dreamed about for a while now , But does anyone know why Lewisports would have a photo of the prototype on their front page with the title "Hmmmmm" ? Does Adrian know something we don't ? or is he just teasing us ? Just scroll down the homepage a little and it's dated 23/1/14 . I'm confused ...

Why I have this bike I don't know because when I had one back in the day it nearly finished me with trials. However, that's a side issue, the bike runs fine but it runs weak downhill and rich uphill. No much but enough as catch you out. All Fantics I've ever owned have been prone to this (just 249s) and I've fiddled with float levels till the inlet rubbers gave up. This one isn't far off so I wont be touching it unless someone can say this is what you have to do and it works. Thanks in advance for any replies..

Hi all, just got a 200 rear kick with a JP stainless exhaust. I've noticed a few people are a bit critical of what they do to the low down power but not sure if they have a vested interest. Anyway I still have the stock pipe so no worries either way. What I'd like to ask is, if you have one what are your thoughts? Also I can mod mine if needs be so if you have felt the need to add baffles could you please send me some info of what you did and any gains. Cheers.

Bit of a novice and could do with a bit of help - I posted yesterday ref my Fantic frame but now i've found something else - The engine bottom end has a plate that says it's a FM 250 125cc. Took the head off and noticed that the piston looked bigger than the 55mm or so that it should be. Measured it and it's 62mm which gives a capacity of 156cc. Knowing that Fantic made a 156cc I did a bit of looking round and it appears that many 125 & 156 bits are the same so I presume that this started out life as a 125 and someone's put a 156 block and piston on it. Question - The carb is a Delorto 24mm. Is that right for the 156 or is it the old 125 carb (or are they the s…

I have my eye on a fantic 200 pro and the people selling say that they are not sure if its a real 200 pro engine in it my be from a 201 mono the bike looks great, have had a go at searching google for info on engine numbers and could not find any tips on what to look for. So if any one could please offer any kind of info on what numbers and letter need to be in the engine number to says it a 200 pro twinshock engine or its a 201 mono or later engine and how do the frame and engine numbers match up number wise. so i can tell that fantic put that frame and engine together when they built it. I would be very greatful for your time and advice
