With much disappointment I must announce that our (third) EnduorCross originally scheduled for Aug 23rd 2008 has been cancelled. This event originally was planned to run on Saturday Aug 23, 2008 in Rose City, MI. as part of a three race series. Two of three races have been cancelled due to low rider turnout at prior events. Our first try in 2007 resulted a great time but at serous financial cost to the club. Our second try on June 7, 2008 (run in conjunction with our AMA D-14 Gare Scrambles race on June 8, 2008) was a bit better but still had very low rider sign up's. Our cost of insurance and other items is too high to continue on this path in 2008. WE are hoping to ma…

Did I miss something? I haven't seen a place in Trials Central for posting US events and results. Just wondering if there is enough interest to create a separate calender or topic for US based clubs and organizations to post events and results?

The woods of Rhode Island will come alive during the 5th Annual New England Vintage Trials Championship at the Rhode Island Trials Club facilities on Escoheag Road in Exeter, RI on Saturday September 25, 2010. The event gets more popular every year, and almost 30 riders competed on the slippery rocks in 2009. Veteran Wayne Galvin lost out in a close battle with former New England trials champion Danny Allen; both riders were on Bultaco Sherpas. The first US round of the World Trials Championship was held at the same location in 1975, and much of the same rocky terrain will be incorporated into this year

Rounds 7 & 8 of the Central Regional Trials Championship will be held at Douglass, Kansas on November 1st & 2nd. Go to AVTA web site for full details and flyers. You can also get results from the other six rounds of the CRTC just like last year. If you've never ridden the quarry in Douglass then you're just not living right. Lots of fun and there's the bike launch Saturday night, too. Looks like all the classes will be decided at this event! We'll see you there!

What a great day we had today! 90+ riders, fantastic weather, great sections for morning & afternoon riders, and Pat Smage, too! The quarry was jumping with riders from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Tennesee, Kansas, Oklahoma, & Texas (the pits were packed!). The annual bike launch went off smoothly as did dinner, too. Tomorrow promises more of the same. Dale Malasek brought the 2010 Gas Gas for everyone to see and it was nicely priced, too. If you couldn't make this year's event mark your calendar for next year! I'll try to post a picture or two later... Greg

Hi all, Announcing the second annual "Scot Hop" Gate Trial on November 7, 2010 in Oxford, MI. It is a fun trial, with no cost to ride and no series points in the MOTA schedule. It will use the Gate Trial Format which is blast for anyone who has not ridden that style of event. It's all about trying to get as many points as possible! Great opportunity for riders of any caliber to excel. A work day is set for Sunday 10/31 to set up and ride. The sections are reallly all cut in, so it's mostly riding actually. That's so we can establish the various gates for the gate trial format. Unless someone gets the idea to hack in a new section.....hmmmmm. Some serious BS might …

Two Day event with an informal trials school available on Saturday. Sunday has 20 modern sections, suggested two loops, keep score if you want. There are also 20 vintage sections set up. You can ride all the sections some of the sections, the choice is up to the rider. Modern rest rooms, camping, trials, old bikes, new bikes, young riders, old riders just cool! Contact Mike Komer at the Tryals shop for more info before he leaves for the trials.

Congrat's guy's on an excellent trials. I really liked the long, open, challenging sections. You really had to have a good ride to clean them, but nothing too difficult. All in all a real enjoyable day. Thanks again for a quality event. - Don PS All day long I kept thinking it's not raining and it's not 95*F with 95% humidity, am I really at a Great Lakes event ???

Great Lakes members, Thanks for a great event. The sections were challenging but fun and I had great time riding them. You guy's really put the effort in and it shows. I can't really single out a favorite section, but the water sections and the long rocky uphill double were like the old school sections of long ago and it's nice to see them used again. The staircase was also fun to ride. (Once I found all the markers. Thanks Lester!!) I had a blast going over big exit rock in Rusty's section. All in all really nice sections and a fun event. Congratulations to Steve Widman for a most excellent ride in SR with only 10 points! Nice ride Steve. - Don
