Hello, I recently picked up a used 2019 GasGas 125 for my son and I can tell someone has been into the carb. Can someone please tell me what the stock jetting is for a newer 125 with a Keihin at sea level and what jetting they typically use? Thanks!

Hi everyone, Recently bought an old TXT some people have helped me identify in another post. I've fully stripped it now and pulled the cases apart. Mega help from someone on youtube who stitched all the Jim Snell videos into one 2 hour information goldmine. The only thing left I'm struggling with is removing the crankshaft. I've pulled the cases and removed everything else. It looks like its a special tool but I can't find mention of it anywhere online. Photo attached but I'm assuming the innter gear is threaded and needs some kind of splined tool to sit in the two inserts on the gear. Is that right? Anyone else done it before and have an idea or link to a …

Well, after detecting a piece of metal on the magnet of my 2020 txt 300 gp, I opened the motorcycle and the result is a broken primary shaft sprocket. The half-moon needle bearings were beginning to break and have produced some very slight marks on the inside of another pinion and the primary shaft itself. The truth is that it seems like garbage design and bad materials. My question is, will changing just the bearings be enough or since there are brands, should I replace the primary shaft and the two pinions?

Hi everyone, I've bought a cheap trials bike for getting into trials and also wanted to learn a bit about getting on the spanners as I've never really dare touch stuff on my enduro bike beyond very basic maintenance. I was hoping stuff would be easier to fix compared to my modern enduro bike (way too many electrics and parts for me to understand lol). Anyway, I bought a GasGas 300 TXT 2005. However now I have it home it looks like a mixture of bikes (doh - i'll probably do more research next time). To be fair I don't think the seller really knew either. It appears to have a Raga frame (I've checked the Vin which confirms this) and engine casings but the rea…

  5. KTM are now in self administration in Europe, they hope to get new funding and the news suggests all will be revealed by end Feb. https://newatlas.com/motorcycles/ktm-enters-restructuring/ I wonder if the other brands are in bother? They have a joint venture with CF Moto as well. My local Triumph dealers have just taken over the next door unit and are selling Pierer from these premises. (https://www.destinationmotorcycles.co.uk/) I have been drooling over the Augusta for some time and bought some Gasgas merchandise - its a nice outlet and the new bikes look really nice as well. Shame to see it all go bang.

  6. hi Guys , looking for some opinions form riders who have tried out the newer generation of Gas Gas txt's 2024 onwards. currently ride a '21 txt 280 and i absolutely love it. i've had brief test rides on mates bikes, new shercos, Betas and Vertigos, and if i'm honest, i couldn't wait to give them back and get back on the 280. how much different are the newer models to ride compared to my '21 280? i'm yet to try one out. no plans on an immediate bike change, but would like to get some gas gas riders opinions. cheers !

At the very beginning I would like to apologize for my English. In my motorcycle, I have a problem with changing from 4th to 5th gear and from 5th gear to 4th gear, if I overgas it, the gear shifts. I've been driving like this for 2 years but now I decided to fix it. Can anyone tell me what could have been damaged?

  8. Hello , my 09 pro is a pig to start when the fan is on. The previous owner fitted an inline stat, this stat switches on and off at 68c , 67c, so it's hysteresis is very low. I have a stat in the top of the radiator also, it switches on at 69c and off at 55c. Which stat would be better to use? Is 55 , 69 a correct running temp? Thank you Gary

  9. Help me set up the carburetor dellorto phbl 26 bs 1994. Motorcycle Gas Gas 1994, 237cc engine. The old carburetor parameters that were originally when I bought the motorcycle. 35 Pilot Jet 108 Main Jet D36 Needle 50 Slide 60 Choke Jet 350 Float Needle valve At these settings the carburetor is probably leaking. He just doesn't eat. Then I bought a 200 valve from Float Needle and bought a Main Jet in all sizes. I started trying to change the settings, I just changed the Float Needle valve to 200 and Main Jet 122, but it didn’t do anything. It still pours. Could it be a problem with the floats? Their weight is 2.8 grams. Maybe…

  10. How oil do you put in the box of your 1994 Gas Gas JTR? I tried MOTUL TRANSOIL EXPERT 10W-40 and Putoline RS 75 this is a synthetic oil. I haven’t seen a video that before, or 5w-30 was regular oil, or was it mineral oil? Where can I find this? Could the Sentetic oil cause disc slipping? What oil do you use?

  11. The clutch will probably slip. At high speeds there is vibration and the motorcycle does not move! The size of the package is 25.8 mm, I checked the feredo in place and did not lag behind the disk. Spring size 37 mm.

Hi all! My Gas Gas JTR clutch is not working. Unfortunately my package is slipping, I measured exactly 27 mm. 0.3 less than expected, maybe that’s why it won’t work? If you give it gas, the revs increase and there is vibration, but the motorcycle doesn’t move. It only works in 3-4-5-6 gears and maybe the springs have sagged, can you tell me what size they should be?

  15. I guess the thermostat on this bike i not working as it is supposed to since they have wired the electric fan so it runs all the time. On 1 of my Gas Gas TXT Pro bikes the fan is wired so it runs all the time. I supposed that i should i wire it back so it kicks in according to the thermostat Having the fan running all the time is not best for the electric fan motor so what do you think?

Hi guys New to me 2006 gasgas 125 seems very responsive, should I put a flywheel weight on to calm it down? Only ridden 250 and 300s but they all had lots of flywheel to calm them down, and were docile but this 125 just revs so fast, catches me out, odd!

Recently bought a used 2022 txt250. Was running fine. Came with a flywheel weight and wanted to try it without it. After removing it but putting it back on, because I didn't have the right bolt for the flywheel without the weight, it started but only ran for a minute and couldn't get it restarted. Later in the day, tried again and started once but only briefly ran before backfiring or making some popping sound and now won't start. Now occasionally when trying to start it it will make a loud exhaust popping sound but will not start. Could it be related to having removed the flywheel and messing something up in the process or something else unrelated? Any advice on where to…

  19. Started by Wilton,

Got a leak in my master cylinder hose, so I took it apart to replace the hose and found this fairly soft black rubber item inside the master cylinder. It did was not attached to the lid so when I removed the lid it remained in the master cylinder. There doesn’t seem to be any hole in it so I’m pretty sure that the fluid goes into the master cylinder before this does. I can’t see any purpose for it, it just seems to reduce the volume of the cylinder! What’s it’s purpose and do I need it in there? Thanks
