This morning I replaced the clutch plates on my Tr280 for the new upgrade kit from Ossa. The old one was draging a lot even when the bike was at operating temperature. My dealer lent me the tool to align the spring. So I did the replacement this morning. I put oil on the plates when I put them in place, used the align tool and put everything back together. Everything went really easy. I started the bike to try it... when I shift, the bike started to roll. I put the brakes and it stalled. So I start again and let the engine warm for a while, same thing. I can't see whats wrong? Is there a specific side for the release arms?

Here's a question for those who understand port timing - which I don't Having a few problems with gear selection set up on my '75 310 MAR. Under the bench is another 310 engine I picked up about 25 years ago. It's a later engine from a green bike. I stripped it to compare selector mechanism and set up but whilst apart I thought I'd compare porting as I'd heard that the later bikes were different. On the 75 bike, the inlet port measures 25mm top to bottom and is 25mm high in the barrel (from bottom of liner to bottom of port) On the 79 bike, the inlet port measures 20mm top to bottom and is 30mm high in the barrel On the 79 bike the port is also narrower in width but I…

Hello All, Has anyone dealt with Ossacels recently and how did it go? I ordered parts for my MAR months ago and have not seen them yet, I've sent numerous emails both in english and spainish and had no reply. I haven't paid for anything yet as I chose COD, he didn't offer PayPal as an option when I ordered online. It's frustrating the hell out of me that I can't get parts I need out of him and that my emails go unanswered.

Not my OSSA MAr, but my friends. The bike he bought a while back, advertised as restored needing nothing has been one hack after another. To late to complain to the guy, and the seller was not honest in how he described and displayed the motorcycle. It was a long distance sale, so between emails, phone calls and videos, the bike was bought and shipped. Suffice to say the seller, that did the work should not handle tools and has no real regard for quality. Along with many issues, the most recent occurred last week. While getting the jetting dialed in, the engine lost power and began rattling. My first comment when told about this on the phone was he seized i…

I am looking for a wiring diagram for a 2012 ossa explorer. I am all so looking for a picture of the back side of the key switch showing what color wire is installed on which terminal on the switch. At this time my bike will start in both key positions.

Hello. I am from Russia. Sorry for my bad language. I bought OSSA Explorer, and after 3 hours i get black spark(spark was new NGK BP5ES). Air filter was clean, and i use synthetic oil for 2 stroke 10 ml/1 l gasoline. Its problem because too much gasoline in injection. I dont have diagnostic cable, and i want to check all sensor and wires, fuel Injector, and fuel pump. I remove temp air sensor, throttle position sensor and fuel Injector to check. And my fuel injector have number FBYCG80 800 1808. Its fuel injector from Subaru Impreza I think its not original fuel injector, but look same. It's my its origi…

Well tomorrow I'm doing a trial on a borrowed 250 mar to see how I like the bike before buying one. Already had a little play around the yard on it and was impressed on how smooth it was compared to the fantic iv been riding. The power comes in so steady with no snappy jumpy movement which also made it great to turn tightly. Hopefully the weather will turn for the best and the trial won't get cancelled. Will post how I get on and how the bike rode.

Hello guys. Allow me to introduce myself. I own an Ossa TR280i from 2012 and I no longer know where to go. I have an almost certain problem with the ecu, but I don't have the K-scan program to look at it. Could someone please give it to me. I would be grateful. Greetings to all

Thinking about taking the plunge, have never ridden trials only Enduro and MX. A nasty injury has made a trials bike appealing due to weight and less stress on my arms. I snapped my humerus in two early April (MX) and has surgery eight weeks ago. I should be able to start riding in August and a light weight bike that is less powerful than my SXf 250 is appealing. I want to use it more like a MTB with an engine though than rock hopping and to get onto single tracks in forrests. So, noise pollution is a consideration - compared to my SXF, how quiet is the Ossa? The Ossa appeals as it has EFI and I am not a bike tweaker, want to drop the oil and ride it without dicking …

Any ossa fans out there know if theres an easy way to identify the engine size of a 70`s mar. Its been suggested mine may not be a 244 as originally thought but a 310. As the bike is running ok at the moment I dont want to take it apart to find out but I would be interested to know.

My kick start works fine going down but struggles to return. It’s like the case seal has swollen up and is tight on the shaft? Any ideas what I should order in advance before removing the clutch case and investigating deeper?

I dont understant how to unlock this bearing. I cant find information on manuals... I think, i need pull gear and make hot, and after pull bearing...

So I assume by now that most people who are experiencing starting issues either have the original LSS type starter pack installed, or have the 9v battery version which is smaller, simpler, and avoids potential flooding by only charging the electrics and not the fuel pump. Just as a matter of interest, if you were to use a rechargeable 9v battery on the 9v system, and say, kept the circuit open when travelling between sections, would the system recharge the battery or would the combo capacitor and 9v battery in the sytem have a negative effect. I know changing a standard 9v battery on this system is no big deal, my questions is more just a matter of interest as to whethe…

Don't know where I've been the last year that I haven't seen this machine ! I guess UNDER a log Anyway , I am VERY interested in buying one for my next bike ,like in a couple months. I am used to FI , we have been running it on our MX bikes and race quads since about 2002 Is there any way an individual can remap this bike? No dealer anywhere close , maybe 300 miles. What is the parts avail in the US ? How has the reliability been? Anything else I need to know?

Hi All, Might be scary that I'd have to ask this but, this is my first Ossa so... Anyway, can some please tell me where the transmission oil fill location is on a '72 MAR? The drain was pretty straight forward, I think...big plug on the bottom, right? Fill location is not so evident. I understand the volume is 800cc-1000cc. Thanks in advance, Shoe

So there was I thinking this makeover on the bike would be a 2 minute job . Long story short ... Eventually decided that I wanted to put a factory sticker kit on my bike and do the frame white so ordered the sticker kit through my local dealer. He was told it would be here in a week ( which ends today ). I get a call from him this morning saying that they are no longer available?? How can a sticker kit from last years bike not still be available. I do have a 2014 tr280 sticker kit here but wanted something a bit different. Frame is lying bare and ready to be powder coated Is there a 2014 factory kit? Anyone post a pic?
