Hi all . I am looking for some protection , not full torso , more to protect my shoulders . I know this may seem a bit OTT but I have an old war wound / damage that I would like to protect should I fall off . I know the idea is not to fall off but I am the clumsy type . I have spent hours on the net and found all sorts but I am really looking for personal opinion as there is so many brands and options . Any advice would be appreciated , Cheers Dusty

Hi all, not sure if this ok and correct. mum looking for a pair of used boots that anyone has or willing to sell for my don, adult size 11 hes never rode trials before and not fancied to pay over £200 for a new pair just in case he doesn’t get into it, I would if he was my size, but I’d have to stuff with a bag of coal to fit me. Hey all- Every shirt I wear ends up weighing 10 lbs full of sweat on these hot summer days. Anyone got a recommendation for a shirt that stays dry (er)? Thought maybe something like Under Armour or something like that-not sure. I try to avoid the 100% cotton, but even the 50-50 shirts aren't immune to getting soaked and heavy. Thanks all.

I made a wheel bearing removal tool today, based on the Jitsie model, out of Jatoba wood. It has a janka hardness of 2,350 - 2,600. That is extremely hard wood. No pun intended. It dulled every one of my lathe knives to get it done. Cost me $5,50 and 1 hour of time. Jitsie’s is $60. This’ll work on 6004 2RS bearings (20 x 42 x 12) with a center spacer.

Just wondering what boots others are happy with. I have Novogars which have worn through on the inside of the right boot in front of heel. (found this out stood in a stream yesterday) they are nearly 6 yrs old. I don't know if this is a common place for them to go?? I have found them a comfortable boot but may go for another make if I can find ones that are maybe stronger in that area. I will be going to BVM they seem to have a wide range . Any to steer clear of or any recommendations worth a look at. Thanks in advance.

I was trying to remove a flywheel on my TLR the other day and I could not get it to budge - even with a 2 foot extension. I took it to local workshop and the old guy ie: 8 years older than me - stuck an impact wrench on it with just his hand holding the flywheel and off it came. My immediate reaction was " I have to have one " ... what are people's thoughts on this ie: will I get use out of this? Cheers Andrew

Hi guys, ill soon be ordering a pair of specific trials boots, and i want to know your opinion... Im in the market for the boot with maximum FEEL and CONTROL when riding.. Been staring at the SIDI Trial Zero and Astars No Stop as main options... Opinions, Comparission on both.... I mentioned this two for their killer looks and recognised brand, but if you have any others suggestions im here to learn and your advice is welcome..
