Hi all. Enduro rider giving trials a go. I have large calves and can't find boots to fit. I'm a size 9 shoe, so a 10 boot. Just tried Gaerne Pro Balance, size 10 and 11(UK sizes) can't close the boots. I can get the straps closed, but theres the gap between the buckle side and strap side. Also very tight around the top with on half the velcro on. I'm not competing, just social play riding. Any ankle high boots I could use? Any recommendations welcomes. Thanks.

I'm a big heavy dude with an active job, so I have quite huge calves. The A-stars Tech T's I tried out when buying my bike weren't even close to closing. I found a couple older threads about this topic, but thought I'd ask around in case there's any new models. Right now it looks like Gaerne Balances with the adjustable strap lugs are my best bet, any other models I should look into?

Hello everyone, I am back into trials after many years riding only enduro. Now I want boots but don't know which brands are recommended. I am looking for save and high quality boots that are also available in big sizes. I am not so much concerned about the price as I value my feet quite high.

I'm getting frustrated with boots... I've been riding in my motocross boots (Gaerne SG10's) which are great boots, and they don't really bother me much to ride trials in, but obviously walking around they aren't fantastic, as they weight about 5000 pounds each. So I ordered a pair of Sidi Trial Zero boots. They ended up being big, so I sent them back, and as I'd had better luck with Alpinestars in the past, I ordered some No Stops. They're the right size as far as length goes, but they're awfully tight on the top of the foot and the ankle... they remind me of the ice skates I hated to wear as a kid. How much are these going to loosen up? Because for the money, I reall…

Hi Im looking for some trials boots but want to try them on I live in South Derbyshire and the only place I know of that sells trials boots is Leasure Trail but they only sell Hebo or Sidi. I have heard bad things about the Hebos so was thinking of the Forma Boulder I might even push the boat out and go for some Alpinstars no stops Does anyone know where I can go to try on differant makes in the East Mids at all?

I have been using Hebo boots for the last few years and have sprained both of my ankles badly during that time. What would anyone recommend as trials boots that give the best ankle support?

Ok I'm new to the whole trials world. I need to get a pair of boots since I will be competing in the near future. I have no way to try on a trials boot before I buy them. Should I try like a motocross boot or an enduro boot to get a general size? I want to get alpine stars if that makes a difference.

OK...my red, white and blue "Captain America" Alpinestars from the 80's finally gave up, and my spares are too clapped out to wear. I crashed, ripped off a sole and broke a toe. I've always got used boots before...this is my very first pair of NEW trials boots. The Novogars look good for the money...as in, they're the cheapest. Got the "carbon" look...very cool. My feet are 8.5 EE or EEE, almost as wide as long with very high instep and arches. I got the 43 (about 9.5) and they're a tad snug in the width, but I walked around in them for awhile and they now feel super comfortable. I had to let the lowest strap WAY out so I could buckle it. The soles are WAY stiffer…

  14. Good evening feet uppers ! This has probably been discussed time and time again but I would like to ask the community if anyone knows if its possible to get hold of early 80's Fantic Motor style clothing preferably Brema. I still have my old riding kit form the 80's but it's a bit rank and a bit uncomfortable compared to modern kit. (Photo is 1985 on a Michaud Replica 300)

a friend of mine asked me for some advice on helmets the other day. he's been out of the trials world a about ten years and when he pulled out and dusted down his trusty nolan helmet he found the foam mites had eaten away all the padding. anyway. he asked me what budget helmets are on the market as i have a fair bit of knowledge on trials gear out there. or so i thought. the budget helmet market seems to have exploded with so many new brands with their own trials based open faced helmets. having looked there does seem to be some models out there that look similar to each other. one in particular is the wulfsport one. its reasonably priced at approx £60. i know quite a…

Anyone got one of these? I'm going to invest in one for when I'm down in the woods for carrying a spare spark plug, tools, pump ect whilst also having a drink on tap (literally). Theyre cheap, light and look very useful http://www.millets.co.uk/rucksacks/hydrati...uct/091745.html

Hi all, Am thinking about getting a camera (gopro etc)and and getting some good advice. Was just wondering peoples views on here plus whats the best mount position? Bars will give the bike route view whilst helmet will get a good perspective on where the eyes track within the section? I know its a fairly wide angle lens but was wondering peoples views on mount position?

  20. As with the Wulfsport gloves I used these today at Corten in the cold and rain and wished I had bought them years ago. Size fits well too. I got the bottoms at Sports Direct in a sale for £4, usually £10, same as the top but even for £20 the pair great value as they do what say on the tin.
