Don't blame all the extra weight on the bags of sand
-
Very hot today - the lads from Oz are obviously used to the heat, as they took 1st, 2nd and 4th on the hard route
Good trial, thanks to all involved...
-
I agree, well done Dabill - lets hope there are plenty more WR points to come

My Dad sends the junk mail back in the pre-paid envelope. It doesn't cost them 'owt if you simply throw it in the bin but it costs them the price of a stamp if you send them their own junk mail back - Revenge isn't expensive
-
Is that it?
Are you supposed to drill down now and plug the original hole or summat?

Yes, my 02 bike leaked fuel all the time, the BillyT mod cured it for a while but I ended up getting it drilled at JLI's. The 04 bike didn't leak but I had it done for the SSDT anyway. The 05 bike was as bad as the 02! Dropped it off for drilling and picked it up the day after - never leaked since

The Bradford one is at Skyrakes near Skipton...

SSDT, Friday morning wasn't it?

Saturday, 22nd of October (the day of pain!)

Impressive stuff, was that Alan Bechard I could hear on the 'Smage' clip?
-
I've got mine, I haven't thrown them in the bin (yet)
If I'm not riding, I would be interested in opening up or something...
-
I saw some of those Titanium pegs last weekend, the first thing I thought was "Them buggers would skin me to the bone"
-
Hmm, tricky one. If the bike has been flogged from new or has been drowned then it's buyer beware I suppose...

I could understand the logic behind that if Scorpa or Scorpa UK had gone bust and Birkets had bought/rescued the name and the factory before starting afresh. But, Birketts are simply the new UK importers and should be looking after existing Scorpa customers as well as new Scorpa customers. Simple business sense...
It's far cheaper and easier to sell to existing customers who are happy with your product and/or service than it is to find new customers to sell to.
If it was me I would be emailing Scorpa France, asking them if it was fair that all Crossers old customers were being left in the **** by the new importer and the factory!
-
If correct, definitely not...

It took 10 or 12 kicks to get it going again
-
I noticed that, if they are around the section - they mind for him at the dodgy bits. He must be well liked/respected...

I learned that 6 paracetamol on a Sunday morning isn't enough to shift a TC.com hangover
-
Dan and his mate Greg (I think) liked the 'Boddingtons'

1st lap, section 7...
I watched and video'd 4 or 5 riders do the jump onto the top rock from the start gate. Freixa set off like a rocket, I tried to follow him with the camcorder and caught up with him in mid air just before he landed.
When I played it back, all I had got was the crowd blurred in the background - no Freixa
-
Observers are human and we all know that humans can and do make mistakes now and again. It can't be helped, unless each section is video'd and a slow motion action replay is viewed before the next rider enters the section
I was at section 3 on lap 1 when Grimbo cleaned the section, the crowd cheered but then started booing the observers when they asked him to ride it again. The Observer tried to explain that he had the option of a 5 or another attempt but the crowd wouldn't let him get a word in! Grimbo didn't look too concerned and cleaned it again (thankfully!). The cheers from the crowd were even louder the 2nd time round but I couldn't help feeling that some of them were sneering at the Observers as though they were the evil enemy
Difficult job, not one that I would like to do at a club event so give them some credit for having the balls to speak up when needed...
