  1. Extra fuel for sightseeing trips
  2. I'm after a rear Magura brake if anyone has one lying about cheap? I've spent far too much building this bike already
  3. Superb race, good to hear the crowd go mental again
  4. Harsh but fair I suppose...
  5. I agree about the wasting time comment "Section Dossing" A wise, wrinkly old Yorkshire man gave me a few good tips for my first SSDT: - 1 Park your bike as near to the section start cards as you can 2 Walk up the section and try to spot the best line, dump your rucksack at the top 3 Walk back down, stopping every now and again to look back up the section 4 Find an exit route if there is one (just in case) 5 Get on your bike (which is conveniently parked at the front of any queue) 6 Ride the bugger 7 Don't forget to pick up your rucksack - it's a ******* having to ride back to a section for it An extra minute spent walking up and an extra minute walking back down over 30 sections will cost you an hour a day! Time can be very tight on the Tue, Thu & Sat. The other days are not exactly time generous either... Good luck
  6. ...and we were in the bar raising our glasses to them
  7. Judging by the smiley at the end of your post, I'm guessing that you realised that they are shifting the older stock first?
  8. The stuff that is used to seal windscreen in cars, black & gooey - never sets completely...
  9. I use the softer carb spring from JLI's http://www.beta-uk.com

    Saunders On A Beta

Learn the Adobe one first then I can ask you how it all works
  11. Call in at Sandifords, they sell it in big sheets. Very thick and sticky, use a hairdryer when putting it on and it will bend to almost any shape. When I got my last bike, I used it on both sides of the tank and the swinging arms. Still looks good 9 months later and protects the bike well...
  12. Craig Jones? He holds the record for the Worlds longest front wheel stoppie! He lifts the rear wheel at about 125mph and carries it for 200 - 300 feet

It's only 3 bolts to remove the flywheel cover. Wash the bike, remove the cover and lean the bike over to the right to drain any water inside, start the bike and let it run until hot, kill the engine and spray the flywheel and cover with WD40, refit or leave it off until you next use the bike. Also cut a 'V' shape out of the bottom of the cover so that any water that goes in, comes straight back out again. Don't p*** about sealing the cover on, as it's easier to whip it off after each wash. The leaky carb is still the same, JLI's will cure it for

  15. http://www.xtremetrials.co.uk/main.htm (click the 'Video' button) Good clip of Clarky and Crosser in action at one of their shows - quality isn't great but it shows the Brit' talent off

Apple juice that's like saying the engine in Al's truck is a 125cc
  17. A mate of mine lent me that one just before I did the 04 SSDT. There is a clip on there of the 'Devils Staircase' I think it's called. I was buzzing when I rode down it. I think it was just after Pipers Burn on the Friday. I was sorely tempted to turn round and ride back up it but I was a tad short on time that day
