    Gasgas 125 06

run it in for bout 3-4 hours at 100:1 mixture and run this mixture for 3-6 weeks and slowly run it in slowly giving it more and more revs over time but take your time
  2. trust me betarev3 ma bike has had some hammer and ive dropped it more times then ive had hot dinners and it still in good condition and runs well and nowt has gone wrong with it
  3. hi ive got an 06 gasgas and had no problems whatso ever the only thing i do is clean filter and sometimes clean carb every month or so and grease swinging arm bearing every three months, but apart from that no trouble with parts or anything and i ride at least once every weekend of the year and they are also a very nice bike to ride and flick about easily
  4. put a thicker base gasket on the cylinder to give it less compression which will make it smoother to ride and should start easier
  5. i rode the scarborough two day trial this year and they used the fim rules as a matter of it was most requested by the riders and i think that it worked fantastic and it is a much better ruling system than the acu, if it were my choice i would switch to fim straight away!

    07 Sherco

i expect cabestany to be riding the new 07 sherco tomorrow as raga and fajardo where with the gassers when they came out for the first time
  7. ive had two gassers for the last two years a 2001 one and now a 2006 one and i havent had any problems with neither of them parts wise, the only thing really that needs doing is bearings every so often likew in the wheels and that but you probably do that on your beta anyway, some people also say that the gassers are more maintenence which they probably are but if you look after them they are ok. i think the gasser is a great bike and i wouldn`t change from one!
  8. check to see that your barrel nuts are fully tightened i checked mine as my bike was doing the same and found that 3 of the four nuts were not fully tightened or were lose and after i tightened these up it was fine and have had no leaking or problems with the bike since
  9. hi im 16 too and yes you can ride a 250 i have had no problems riding my 250 in any trial just put yourself down as a youth "A" but next year all youths have to be on 125 i think so you may have to put yourself down as a adult

    Gas Gas Clutch

the oil i used was putoline mineral clutch oil, i was wondering if it had something to do with the clutch plates been warn, would this have any effect on the clutch itself been heavy or would it just make it slip? coxy

    Gas Gas Clutch

hi i have a 2006 gasgas 250 pro and compared to a few other bikes that i have ridden or felt the clutch my clutch seems heavy, could any body suggest why this is the case and what can be done to make it lighter, i have put new clutch oil in only a month ago (putoline) and haven`t changed the plates since new about 8 months ago, any help would be much appreciated cheers coxy
  12. it`ll be race fuel that they put in mixed with the petrol it gives the bike more power i am lead to beleive some how but not sure how but yeah it is race fuel they use
  13. i think that michelin are the best all round tyre, they seem to last quite along time and are good for grip aswell on rocks and in mud etc
  14. just clean filter oil chain and check any other things that may need doing, basically just go around the bike and check everything is ok and what does taking the air out of the front forks do to it and how do you do it?

    04 Raga

the exhaust brackets break quite often on the pros and is quite a high maintenance bike, the power of the bike is quite aggressive and has alot of power but if you can handle it then it should be ok aslong as its in good nick it shoudnt be bad
  16. try giving the observers an award for giving up their time like if a rider could bring an observer then his ride would be free for that day or if someone can observe then he will be paid say

    Got Flywheel?

the heavier flywheel will soften and smoothen out the bottom end and also will make the bike rev for longer than with a stock flywheel as the added weight will keep the engine turning i think, i would like to know how you go on with the flywheel weight if you decide to put one on please
  18. i think it is more to do with the supporters and promoting the sport than anything that there is man made sections around so much and not to do with the riders choice or terrain, as with you i wish that the good old fashioned natural terrain sections would be put back into action they are alot better than the man made sections and it gives the trial more of a choice of things to ride on not just rocks
  19. all i can say really is take the tyre off and really give everything inside including taking the rim tape off and clean underneath that and make sure all spokes are tight and then grease under the rim tape, put rim tape etc back on and clean it all and put the tyre back on and blow it up so it pops out and check the tyre etc at that see if it is still leaking putting a tube in a tyre doesn`t really make that much difference to be honest but you can sometimes get snake bites from it and that hope this helps
  20. the 01 bikes have terrible suspension compared to the pro models ive had both and the newer ones are alot better, the old bikes have an adjuster screw to soften it up and that is at the bottom near the swinging arm, also make sure that all bearings on the wish bones for your suspension are fully greased up and in perfect working order, mine had seized from when i bought the bike and i put new ones in and this made a hell of a lot of difference ride wise and felt alot more "plush" when riding etc

    What Is This?

from what i have been told the switch is a switch to change the ignition curve and on the "rain" setting the bike is smoother at bottom end and only revs to 8000rpm but when you switch it onto the "sunshine" setting it gives the bike more power off bottom end and more aggressive and the bike revs to 10,000rpm or there abouts and i have an 06 gas gas 250 and when i had the switch on you could certainly tel that the bike revved out more on the sunshine setting but can`t really tell that much on bottom end, hope this has helped
  22. there may be a problem with the master cylinder or the bolt holding the back brake onto the pipe may be tightened too tight this is the problem i had with my old gasser and it did exactly the same loosened the bolt off a tiny bit and it was fine afta that

    Kehin

ring your nearest gasgas main supplier and ask there you should hopefully get some answers from that
  24. the harder the better, i ride the middle route or clubman route and i always seem to do better when its hard and do cr*p on the easy stuff
  25. yes moving the handlebar positon will help you as it changes your position on the bike and moving them back will help you to gain grip and will also help you to stop tucking under due to your weight been more over the back wheel hope this helps
