  1. A soapy tenner is was, so a soapy tenner it will be
  2. Before a trial at New Year I had a similar issue, pedal was hard, plenty force going thru it, umpteen bleeds, getting nowhere, til we released the banjo at the caliper....almost instantly I had brakes, air was trapped at the banjo/caliper....give it a try, you have nothing to lose
  3. OK fella, you know best
  4. Your point is caller ?
  5. OK, a soapy tenner says, you still have air in the system.
  6. Fancy a wee small wager on that ?

  9. Woodside is a horrible place for an H&H IMO, fine if you're a young pup and like all the mx jumps Glen Trusta on the other hand is a cracking piece of land, should be a good un

Huh ! There is porn on the internet ??
  12. I'm having a rather healthy debate elsewhere, on another forum, who are all road/track riders, I have said that I have read on here and on Trials UK vids that to calm your bike down, you can go a tooth down, however, they are all disputing this, although none of them are giving a reasoned argument as to why.
  13. OK, what I'm not understanding then is, how come that's the opposite to road bikes ? i.e. smaller front on road bikes for faster acceleration, but smaller on a trials bike gives less acceleration
  14. I need to get my head round why the likes of trials UK and others on here state that to calm a bike down, you can DOWN tooth the front sprocket ? Yes, I know there are various other ways also, but specifically this route ? Coming from a road riding perspective, as I do, and fairly new to trials, this flies in the face of what happens with road/track/race bikes. Can anyone give me an explanation to this.
  15. Yer having a tin bath aren't ye
  16. Have another read of my first post ! Maybe you'll understand it better, maybe you won't, I'm now sorry I asked for other people's opinions on semi or full, cause it turned in to a side show circus.
  17. What have you been drinking more like, have another read of your post My comment was in relation to copemech alluding possibly to him pushing something, saying he uses semi instead of fully is hardly pushing a product is it
  18. He is Gary Mac. I read it initially. I then asked him personally. He never, at any time mentioned any type of oil, he wasn't pushing anything, he's a jiner, no an oil salesman. Any further questions ?
  19. he may well be full of crap, but he certainly wasn't pushing anything on me, just his take on things, and given he's British Expert A champion 2010, reckon listening to his opinion/advice may well carry more salt that any tom dick or Harry over the tinternet granted I did ask As for oil engineering, you gotta laugh at that comment, I ask a question, get a few various answers, and you tell him to stick to riding and not oil engineering
  20. I have always used fully synthetic oil in my trials bike, however, I have just read elsewhere that one of the top riders in Britain uses semi and said fully is a big no no ? Anyone care to tell me what the benefits are of semi against fully or vice versa and should I change to semi ?
