check the flywheel is ok and very clean dont know why but i had a nightmare starting mine till i cleaned up the flywheel then it was a doddle

could the thick pipe be a bulkhead drain ?

i have the single box on my 175 id say it is much freer revving with it it is louder but not extreme you do need some kind of heat shield

i just sold my 09 evo for 1750 in good condition bargain

id say between £1500 - £1800 in good condition

check the master cylinder cap there is little breath holes in it they could be blocked also make sure there is enough play in the pedal

as he said also dont over tighten it when you refit just nip it up then tighten up the pinch bolts
